Went for our anniversary dinner and was very pleased. We were seated at a comfortable booth near the bar and had great service by Erick M. I ordered a Manhattan and my wife had an Old Fashioned. Both were excellent. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the Prime Rib Sandwich was terrific. We both enjoyed sharing the Izzy's potatoes. Lots of parking was available.
We were a party of 4, dining on a Thursday night. We had 3 orders of the teriyaki flank steak and one order of the salmon. We started with salads. The food was good, though not outstanding. The restaurant was quite busy and therefore, very noisy. It was difficult to hold a conversation. We would like to commend the waitstaff - they were very attentive. I believe our waiter was named Amir (?). He handled an issue we had with the wine service in the most professional and courteous...
Great to be back at Izzy's. There's more life, energy and enthusiasm with the staff! There's renovation was a long time coming and it shows! Food was awesome! Beer and wine selection second to none! My favorite was the fried oysters but they ran out of it! A must try! The best I've had!
