Was very pleased with my first and only experience at Izzy's Peninsula. Has been wanting to go there for some time, and when I heard they were closing down the location, I made my reservation right away. Was pleased with the ambiance and the service. Food was extremely good and well prepared. Price point was exceptional in comparison to other steakhouses. I will be booking future reservations at the other location they have in San Francisco to try it again.
Upon receiving recommendations from several individuals, we decided to dine at Izzy's, a renowned restaurant situated in the Redwood City vicinity. During our work trip, we intended to celebrate our anniversary at this establishment. However, our experience was marred by several shortcomings. Firstly, the server was overwhelmed by the number of tables, resulting in inadequate attention to our needs. Secondly, the ambiance failed to align with the concept of “smart casual,”...
Hadn't been to Izzy's in years. After the wonderful dinner we experienced last night, I feel that missed out on an incredible dining experience for way too many years! I'll be returning soon.
