High quality sandwiches with tasty ingredients. (Perhaps a little on the salty side for my preferences, but still very good!)

Solid breakfast sandwich. Should have asked for a fried egg though. Will do next time. Bread was great. Service friendly and efficient.

Hands down the best sandwiches around, and their bread is outstanding! I always have a fantastic experience here!

Service is good. I got the hot pastrami sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. It's definitely one of my go to spots when I want a sandwich.

Good sandwiches (huge selection), clean, well-priced. Lou’s sauce is great. My one pick point is that the amount of meat / ingredients is small compared to the bread slice. There were at least 4 bites of the sandwich that were almost entirely bread. Either cut the bread smaller or add more filling.

Good selection of sandwiches bread and meats. The special spreads are good and the bread was really fresh. Service was efficient came during lunch on a Friday. Got a turkey and roast beef which was great. There is a good selection of Italian sodas in addition to the canned drinks.Parking: Depending on when you come parking will be tough

My first time at Lou's was disappointing. I ordered the Lou-ben (Reuben) sandwich - my measure of a good sandwich shop. The sandwich looked gigantic, as it was served on half a sourdough loaf. I say loaf because it was waaay too big to be considered a roll. The inside of the sandwich was almost ice cold. Kraut was cold and the meat was cold although the cheese was somehow melted. The bread looked good, but was unpleasantly dry and crumbly. I let the staff know about the dry and crumbly bread, but didn't want them to remake the sandwich. I requested rye bread as a replacement and surprisingly they charged me for it.The sandwich, although cold, was much better on rye bread. Who knows why they wouldn't serve it on traditional rye bread as a default. The other ingredients were good. The place was clean and I'll likely give them another chance. I'd probably order the sandwich hot on rye bread.

Service was great and fast. Workers were helpful. My issue lies with the breakfast sandwich. The hash brown is not crispy, the bread not toasted enough, and i dont like the sauce. Maybe others might like the sauce. But im willing to come back and try a different sandwich

Amazing sandwiches. Some of our favorites are southwestern omelette, vegilicious, and lo Quito. Honestly, these are just the ones we have tried and all of them are awesome. Great prices too!!

Ordered through grubhub.Food: Sandwich hit the spot. A lot of flavors but was good. Had a little heat from the pepperoncini. Wish there was more crab. Greek salad was good too. A lot of toppings VS lettuce ratio. Can't complain about that. I didn't get any updates about my order. It showed that they never accepted and the order came 10 min past the window. Other than that, food was good.

Super clean well maintained establishment in Downtown San Carlos. Friendly service and well priced variety of delicious sandwiches both on menu and build your own. They do not scrimp on ingredients and the flavor combos are yummy. Loved my BPAL! The finch crunch rolls were sooooo delish!
