Mi favorite Chinese food hands down , they're food are always fresh , on time , and most of all they are located in San Carlos and I live 7miles from them and they still deliver , all restaurants these days suck due to the fact they don't deliver to certain locations but not them . They always do a great job at getting mi order correct as well .

Paid almost 53 bucks for food that wasn’t good. Nothing has any flavor, and we find a rock in the chicken teriyaki that’s is not ok people don’t waste your money in this Chinese food!

Avoid this place. It's as if they went out of their way to make the food horrible. Foil Wrapped Chicken: Are you kidding me? Chopped chicken? with no flavor wrapped in foil. Never again. Mongolian Beef Chow Fun: Soggy, over cooked, and flavorless. Dry Pan String Beans: Hard to screw up, but they did. Soggy, flavorless and overcooked. Hot and Sour Soup: No flavor. Like snot with bits of stuff. Seafood Fried Rice: Hard to screw up, but no good. Mu Shu Pork: This was actually acceptable. Chicken with Szechuan Sauce: Edible, but no what I'd expect.

New Flower Drum is now my boyfriend and I's go to spot! We have been looking around for an authentic plate of chinese food and that's exactly what we got! They have amazing fried rice / chicken fried rice.

Paid almost 50 bucks for food that wasn’t good. Nothing has any flavor what so ever. Very disappointed especially with the cost of the food. Came here from Connecticut to try some new foods and back home is 10x better.

Tasty American-Chinese-style takeout with fresh ingredients, HUGE portions with loads of meats *and* veggies, is-this-even-the-Bay-Area prices.Also, super-fast delivery by the restaurant themselves and not some third party service that takes an obscene cut of the order (*cough* Doordash + Uber).I've been ordering from this place for years now, and they've been consistently fantastic and reasonably priced. So glad to live near them!

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this fine place. I am glad to say that we had a fabulous evening and the place was indeed the reason for this outstanding event. The stuff cooperated in a lovely manner, the cuisine was appetizing and my friends were extremely cheerful. We shall surely return for more events. thanks very much.

Our go-to Chinese restaurant has officially been replaced by New Flower Drum Restaurant. When our go-to Chinese place started to have unpredictable hours during COVID, my husband and I were forced to try a different Chinese place. So glad that this happened! We love New Flower Drum Restaurant. Their food is absolutely delicious - better than the other place. Everything always arrives lightning fast and the portions are very generous. I always have enough for a dinner and one or two lunches. We have repeatedly ordered their orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, and pork fried rice. It's been consistent and tasty each time. The sweet & sour sauce also has a very unique, complex flavor profile that I appreciate. In our most recent order they included a beautiful wall calendar for next year. Great marketing!
