Tastes far worse than Paik's noodle San Jose. Cant believe they are from the same Paiks noodle franchise

I heard people talking sarcastically about customers. I think there is a need to manage employees who do not have a service mind.

Really family friendly place with high quality Korean noodles. Reminds me of Korea and oddly Southern California, where Korean food presence is strong. SO glad to be seeing more high quality foods in the Bay area, and in the Peninsula where there is an absolute paucity of selection. Service was only ok, but it was clear that they were understaffed during their opening months. Will be back!

When it first opened, I ate Tangsuyok a few times because the batter was chewy and the meat inside was moist, so I thought this place was a bit different from other Hong Kong restaurants... but after a couple of months since opening, the quality has deteriorated. First of all, the batter and the meat are played separately. The batter feels tough and the meat feels hard and crumbly. And the jjamppong is a bit salty and doesn't have any unpleasant taste at all. Jjajang is delicious. Overall, I think it would be good if you pay a little more attention.

The chili shrimp was the best. It is more like Korean spicy chicken with shrimp. A shrimp was fried and seasoned with spicy source.

Finally a good Korean-Chinese restaurant on the peninsula!
Thank you Grace unni for your hospitality and delicious food. We will come regularly.
We love the jajangmyeon bokum - stir fried black bean noodles and jjampbong - seafood noodle.

I’ve visited several locations across the U.S., and this one is the best by far. Most importantly, the noodle texture was perfect, just like what I’ve experienced in Korea, which is rare in other U.S. locations.

The Jjamppong was a bit spicy but tasted really good. The Beef Jjamppong was new to me, but I enjoyed its savory flavor. Even after 30 minutes, the Jajangmyeon I took to go was still delicious.

The staff was friendly, and the newly constructed interior is clean and inviting. While their full menu isn’t available yet, they already offer a wider variety of dishes than other locations. I’m excited to visit again. When the full menu is ready, dinung experience in this restaurant will be even better!

It is good to see Paik’s Noodle open up in the Peninsula, but my first visit was a bit of a mixed experience. Both the jjajangmyeon and jjamppong were flavorful and consistent with what I’ve had at other locations. However, I felt the portion sizes were smaller here compared to their other spots.

The wait time was also surprising; it took 30 minutes to get our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t even half full. Hopefully, it’s just a new-location hiccup, and they’ll improve with time. I’ll be back to see how things evolve, but hoping for a quicker, smoother experience next time.

Overrated. Good noodle. Fried pork were not crispy. Table was moving around. Zhá jiàng miàn was too sweet for me. Beef in the noodle soup was dry.

The menu is limited with only a handful of dishes. It’s like a fast casual Korean-Chinese restaurant with very sweet and carby dishes. I’d wait until they have the full menu available before going again. We ate close to the end of their lunch service and they rushed us to pay before finishing our meal. Their only Bonchon was yellow radish - wish they had full Bonchon like a traditional Korean restaurant.

Paik’s Noodle is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore Korean-Chinese cuisine! The location is spacious, making it perfect for families and gatherings. The food is simply awesome—there’s so much more than just jjajangmyun and jjambbong to enjoy.

The restaurant is also very clean, and parking is super convenient with plenty of spots in the plaza. If you’re curious about Korean-Chinese dishes (think of it like Tex-Mex but for Korean and Chinese flavors), this is the perfect place to start your culinary adventure. Highly recommended!

So, this was my first time dining at PAIK Noodles. My dining companion had been there about two months ago. She stated that she hoped that the dining experience would be better than her first time there. She was disappointed because on her initial visit, many of the entrées were listed on the menu but then marked out as not available. Most of them involved chicken. Unsure of the problem, she join me nonetheless. Upon arrival, we reviewed the menu and we’re disappointed that that problem still existed. The wait staff stated that they were still “working it out”. So, the menu was rather limited. We ordered delicious noodles and the creamed shrimp. The food was great.

However, we both didn’t understand what the problem was with the absent chicken entrées. If the problem persists, they should print up an expensive paper menus that list only the items available. Not sure if there was a sourcing problem or what but if you already have two establish restaurants, how hard can it be to source chicken and replicate what you’re already serving? It’s a chain restaurant. How hard can this be? I am disappointed. But I will get over myself. I will return in about a month and HOPEFULLY the management will have worked out this problem. If the menu was complete, I would’ve given 5 stars. Right now it feels like a bit of false advertising.

I just got back home from a birthday dinner here for my son and his 12 friends - and let me just say that they have been more than amazing and accommodating. If there was an option for 6 stars, I would choose that instead.

The manager was so nice and welcoming to our huge group, despite the fact they can be a little loud at times, but swiftly took all of our orders in a timely manner along with personally wishing him a Happy Birthday. This is one of his favorite restaurants so I'm so happy they opened one up in San Carlos. They lived up to all of our expectations of what the perfect experience was like eating at Paik's noodles - taste and customer service.

They treated us like family and that's the experience I will remember. The restaurant is also super clean and service was prompt and professional. Joe - our server went above and beyond so he definitely deserves a shout out as well.

I can't wait to come here again - whether it's dine in or take out. Parking was plentiful and you just can't go wrong choosing this place if you're undecided on where to eat.

Parking: Plenty of parking inside a small shopping center.
