Really family friendly place with high quality Korean noodles. Reminds me of Korea and oddly Southern California, where Korean food presence is strong. SO glad to be seeing more high quality foods in the Bay area, and in the Peninsula where there is an absolute paucity of selection. Service was only ok, but it was clear that they were understaffed during their opening months. Will be back!
When it first opened, I ate Tangsuyok a few times because the batter was chewy and the meat inside was moist, so I thought this place was a bit different from other Hong Kong restaurants... but after a couple of months since opening, the quality has deteriorated. First of all, the batter and the meat are played separately. The batter feels tough and the meat feels hard and crumbly. And the jjamppong is a bit salty and doesn't have any unpleasant taste at all. Jjajang is delicious....
Finally a good Korean-Chinese restaurant on the peninsula!
