Ordered the pad Thai, sesame chicken, and basil chili chicken. The pad Thai was unflavored, not spicy like I ordered, and basically tasted like it was tossed in ketchup. The sesame chicken was too sweet. The basil chili chicken also lacked in spice and flavor. Note: I have been and ordered from this location and others and this has been a drastic reduction in quality.

A branch of the other Burmese restaurant chain that has VERY large portions and good flavors! Recommend the tea lead salad and the Burmese pad thai, but we also tried the minted jalapeno chicken that was a good blend of flavors I never thought matched!

We had mild spice for all of them and it wasn't too spicy at all, so if you can handle spice, try medium!

The staff are very friendly and attentive, serving cucumber water and the interior is well-decorated and gives an air of sophistication while still being a more casual restaurant.

We had such a lovely evening dining alfresco on a warm Thursday night with friends! The sidewalk seating in San Carlos is perfect for people-watching, and the cozy indoor space looked just as inviting. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. As always, we ordered our go-to favorites: the Tea Leaf Salad (so flavorful!), Ruby String Beans, and Coconut Rice. This time, we added the Mango Chicken and decided to try a new dish — the Minted Jalapeño Chicken — and wow, we're glad we did! It was bursting with flavor: minced chicken breast with fresh mint, cilantro, garlic, ginger, and just the right amount of jalapeño heat. It was a unanimous hit at the table, and we're already planning our return just for that dish alone! Delicious food, great company, and a fun setting — what more could you want?

We come here regularly and it never disappoints. We eat early and were only folks in the place. From 5-6:30. Food was great as always.

Ordered via UberEats. The Checkmate Beef Curry was especially bad, but so were the Burmese Curried Pork, the Eggplant & Garlic, the Broccoli & Garlic, the Country-style Beef and the Rangoon Lemongrass Chicken.
Update: was able to retry all of previously ordered dishes and was pleasantly surprised to find authenticity and freshly prepared dishes. Great flavors! I guess I caught them on a bad day and I’m glad that I had a chance to try them again.

The food is outstanding especially the Tea Leaf and Ginger salads. Great vegan options. One of our favorite restaurants.

Staff was so friendly, courteous and the food was beyond delicious. What a great way to take a trip in your own backyard.

We've eaten here on and off for many years. Seems to do a fair takeout business, but the restaurant is always empty theses days. Food is consistent, good but not exceptional. Service is poor, only one server for the whole restaurant and he is totally lacking in personality. We were there , on a reservation, for a 25th birthday and they did not even acknowledge it or provide a cookie. Not inclined to ever go back.

We were seated before 6 pm, so noise was not an issue, and it was still easy to talk at the end of our meal. Food and Service were excellent and we will definitely comeback in the future.

Took Brandon's friend Bradley since he's Burnese...our first time except K. Everything was tasty and well presented. Had the authentic tea salad which was very flavorful, samosas were bigger than normal and good, coconut soup with egg noodles yummy, garlic noodles with shrimp and pork curry were tasty in addition to the coconut rice. Had to try the desserts...balck sticky rice and mango ice cream and palata (roti) with mango ice cream and fruit were a nice yummy treat. Service was good.
