This store is totally bi polar. Lily and Tatiana who sadly has transferred to Foster City appear to be remnants of the past when this store was on point. More often than not the passive aggressive vibe is the furthest thing from SBs aim of the Third Place. The staff are confrontational, rude and non service orientated. Lily escape!!!
The coffee is good, as usual, but service was not up-to-par. I paid with a credit card, because who touches cash during Covid? When I didn't put any thing in the tip jar the cashier stared at me, glanced at the jar, and then stared at me again. I said to her, "I wish there was a tip option on your credit card machine." She replied with an emphatic, "Me, too." Then, rather than pouring my coffee as they usually do, the cashier proceeded to sweep the floor and make busy. After a few minutes of this she got around to pouring my coffee. Excellent coffee, as usual...

Precovid this is a cozy place to work, study or just sit around. Usually not to crowed. All usual starbucks stuff served.Now during COVID they serve togo's at the door.
