I've been a customer since they opened and I love the family atmosphere. It's a small restaurant with outstanding service and even better food. I highly recommend their Four Seasons Sushi roll. I have gotten Sushi all over the country and this place tops them all.

Excellent sushi bar went with my friend and we got kampachi nigiri, tempura mix, kazoku roll, and butterfly roll. Tasty hot sake and everything was super delicious would definitely go back again.

This place is super slow. They take too many online orders to fill them in a timely manner if they have people in the restaurant. It took 1.5 hours to get a carry out order I picked up. When I placed it on their website siad it would be ready in 30 minutes. Then they try to give me some peas they give away for free while in the restaurant to justify such a long wait, but ran to the back when I asked for a refund while waiting on my food.

A great sushi spot. Good pricing, good portions, good breath of options - great appetizers like the beef short rib, salad, pork belly, and edamame, and a great selection of rolls, bento, et cetera. My real highlight is the amazing sashimi and nigiri. The sushi men really know what they're doing. Plus service is great, you become a regular quick! Quickly becoming my number one sushi spot.

I just found my favorite sushi spot in the Bay Area. The value to quality ratio is fantastic here. You can’t go wrong with ordering the toro tasting (8 pieces for $48!). We also loved the assorted tempura and hamachi kama. They gave us extra pieces on both sushi sets we ordered and we also had complementary edamame, which was a nice touch.
The only negative was that the tempura sauce was way too watered down, but we fixed that by dipping it into the hamachi kama sauce. We’d order the gyudon next time based on others’ good reviews of the dish. Definitely give Sushi Kazoku a try if you want to get some great Japanese food.
Kazoku is a cozy spot with fresh, delicious sushi and authentic flavors. The salmon sashimi/nigiri are outstanding. Friendly staff and great service make it a hidden gem. Highly recommended!

This is one of our goto places. Their sushi is of great quality, the fish is fresh every time - highly recommend the Kazoku roll and the gyudon. They always have Studio Ghibli sound tracks playing in the background which we love to help relax while filling our bellies.
