Excellent Georgian food! The spinach pkhali was a perfect start, and the chakapuli lamb stew was rich and flavorful. The khachapuri was cheesy and delicious. It's a 4-star experience only because the service was a bit slow, but the freshness of the food makes the wait worth it. Highly recommend for an authentic taste of Georgian cuisine.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The owner is very friendly and really cares about introducing the Georgian culture and cuisine to you. Georgian Amber wine served in their authentic clay bowls is second to none!

We came to this restaurant very excited—I wanted my kids to try Georgian food because I used to work in a Georgian restaurant, and that’s actually where my career as a chef began. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
When we arrived, there were a few empty tables, but no one greeted us. We waited by the entrance, expecting at least a little guidance. What seemed to be the owner was standing right there but made no effort to acknowledge us and actually looked like he was about to walk away. I stopped him and politely asked if there were any tables available for a party of three. His response? “If you can find any table, you can serve yourself and sit.”
That was shocking and incredibly disrespectful. Needless to say, we left immediately. I still can’t understand the point of treating potential customers this way. Hospitality should be the heart of a restaurant—here, it was completely absent.
It is such a treat to have authentic Georgian cousin. Lovely food. Amazing atmosphere and if you lucky and owner is not busy he might tell you about Georgia. Food is fresh. Veggies and fruits fresh from the farmer's market. I had the best Napoleon. Looking forward for visiting again. Will highly recommend Georgian salad, Napoleon pastry, chicken kebab, coffee, poached pear in red wine reduction was just out of this world delicious.

The food was amazing. I had the chicken kebabs, my wife had potatoes and mushrooms. We shared deserts, the lightest Napoleon cake, generous portion!
The pears with mousse were out of this world! The owner took good care of us. Highly recommend!

Tamari food is fantastic! We use them for take out when having dinner parties and it’s a hit every time. The Khachapuri is delicious, as are any of the meats. They have specialty Georgian food items like sodas which I’ve never seen anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Wow... YES. This food is unlike anything I have ever had. The flavors are completely unique and out of this world. If you haven't had Georgian food before, you're missing out.
My whole family had a big dinner from Tamari tonight. Every single item was delicious. We are all barely awake right now 🤣 The food is a little pricey but truly, genuinely worth it.
Freshest dumplings ever. Cheese bread is so satisfying. Chicken kebabs were perfect. Cornish hen was unreal. Sauces were crazy good. My new favorite restaurant?

Yesterday we celebrated the birth of our son in this restaurant. We arrived in advance, agreed on food, drinks and details of the event. As a result, my husband ran around serving guests, although we paid $ 25 service fee for each guest, there were 26 of them. Plates were not changed at all, there were no juices on the tables (unless you ask for them each time). For 26 people, khinkali stood in 2 places on the table with a small portion. There was not a single waiter who served our guests. Here is the result - a ruined holiday, a ruined mood and about $ 3,000 spent on 26 guests. Do not waste your time and money on this place.

Yesterday we had an event for about 30 people. There was not a single waiter. They took my khachapuri from under my nose and put it on another one, leaving our table empty. Not only were the tables empty, but my cousin, the event organizer, went around handing out beer, carrying ice, and doing all the service work himself. As a guest, I was extremely dissatisfied. Complete lack of service, the food is far from Georgian.

Extremely rude service and bad attitude. We were given an option to leave after asking for a glass of water and waiting for half an hour to make an order. Will never come back. Plenty of great places around the corner.

I was lucky enough to enjoy a real Georgian good in Europe, but as the other reviewer said, Tamari offers nothing but low quality imitation. The lamb shank and lamb stew tasted super salty and no lamb flavor; the chicken kebab was dry and not thoroughly cooked. The cheese bread was good though so one star is for that. Don’t expect friendly service except from the lady who served our food; we sat down for 15 minutes without even being offered any water, except just two rusted paper menus throwing at the table. The first two dishes came out pretty quick, but it took another 20-25 mins for the rest to come slowly. We left hungry, thirsty and very unsatisfied. Will not come back again and won’t recommend this place at all
