I have been waiting to return to Town for a while and I finally went for lunch. Beautiful decor and service was great! We did not have a reservation and wanted to sit indoors because it was chilly, so we sat at the bar. I had not been back to Town in years and so I came with a veteran and she ordered. My only addition was the mushroom soup. Everything tasted okay. Sushi roll was not my favorite. The soup was good, but basic. The crispy chicken sandwich was not crispy. The highlight was the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp. It was good to come back and check out this very popular local restaurant. Check it out to see if you like it more than I did.

Always solid and a good variety of options in their menu. They were busy and gave us two free appetizers because of our wait which was nice. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Food was very good as always, but the miso Sea bass was a bit sweet for my wife’s liking.

Manager thinks he owns the sidewalks and harasses pedestrians. He will get in your face, bump into and yell obscenities. Rather unhinged. Photos are then blocking the public sidewalk.

My favorite restaurant on the Peninsula. Never had a bad dish here, service is always great.
I recently had a business lunch at Town restaurant in San Carlos on a Wednesday. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, we managed to secure a table without much hassle. The service was exceptional, and the food truly stood out with generous portion sizes.
We started with a selection of appetizers to share, including the Philly Steak Spring Rolls, Town Super Rolls, and New Orleans BBQ Shrimp—all were absolutely delicious. For my main course, I opted for the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, as I prefer white fish, and it did not disappoint. The server had recommended the Roasted Salmon, which I might try on my next visit.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with great service and flavorful dishes. Highly recommend for both business and casual meals!

French Dip, chocolate cake, fogerabourit
all on point. They even brought us Serrano peppers, and that honestly clinched the deal for me. Creamy horseradish, good French roll, medium-cooked beef, so good.
If I’m being picky, I like my French dip greasy, salty, and a little fatty. This one was a bit too “clean” for me but it was real good.
Service was perfect, and the place is, as always, really nice.

Classic American restaurant with hearty dishes and large portions. I’ve been here many times and it is a reliable place to take friends. During my last visit, I had steak as the entree and bread pudding for dessert. It was delicious! The cocktails are also solid.
