Wow this place is AMAZING. Loved their food. I’ve never had spam musubi with pork sung in the rice. I got the wagyu beef and galbi combo and they were delicious as well! Too bad I live far from here.

bad food bad experience, i ordered the wagyu and the meat was not cooked enough, i chewed and chewed for minutes and could not swallow the meat it would not break down, i went back in the restautant told the worker thus meat is not chewable is this how it is and he said yes, and did not care to hear me out, it was absolute trash of response didnt bother to say il make u some more meat well done or nothing l, just ok is all he had to say, so not fair i paid 21 dollars for this trash and was not reinbursted or food exchanged. All i ate was the mac salad and rice

Hands down the best food in San Carlos. Not much seating inside but a great take out spot. Huge portions, enough to split between two regular appetites. Service is friendly and no frills.

We just came back from a long road trip and were craving for something new and quick. I ordered short ribs and waygu combo. Food was great, and decent portion and reasonable price. I also like the quality of the beef!

Large portions, made fresh and locally owned. This restaurant reminds me of the eateries in Hawaii - my home. The food is so ono - haven't had one bad meal. And I love that the portions are so large it can be split up into two meals.

Stumbled upon this spot because my girlfriend and I were looking for a quick take out place. We found parking really close and ordered through a tablet. We got our food in 15 minutes! We got the spam musabis, chicken katsu and bbq chicken plate and the short rib chicken bbq plate. The portions are huge and the service was really nice. They also gave us a stamp card so after ten orders you get one for free! Definitely will be coming back.

Came here for the terrific restaurant name, but ended up finding solid Hawaiian plate cuisine. The staples are all here: scoops of white rice and mac salad, katsu. There is some variation form the formula though, with the (positive) choice to include stir fried broccoli with the grilled shrimp, as well as bed of cabbage. Only slight demerit might be the mac salad, which was a touch more liquid-y than I would've liked, but it wasn't a huge issue. There was a group from Phoenix that stopped at the restaurant on their way up PNW. I wouldn't quite go that far for William BBQ, but solid food, good value, and friendly service as I chatted up the owner about the name. (It's after his son)

Affordable food with large portions. Quite like their American wagyu rice bowl although their spam musubi is sometimes lacking in sauce

Love the chicken Katsu. I only wish that they would add more sauce in the bag. Other than that it's great.

I've driven by this place quite a few times with the intention of trying it and finally did. I am slightly disappointed. Quality - One thing me and a friend noticed here was the quality of food was high. The ingredients themselves were fresh and good. Everything was cooked perfectly and juicy as well. This was not the problem. Flavor - This is where things didn't live up to expectation. Most the items were fairly bland. The Katsu was juicy, crunchy, great texture, but despite both of those being much higher than L&L's, the blandness makes it worse overall. The quality ingredients don't mean much if they aren't seasoned well. The same could be said about the shrimp. They were cooked well, juicy, but bland also. Mac salad was fairly meh as well. It was on par with super market macaroni salad. Service - This was fairly good and friendly. Not much to say other than that. I feel like given the good price and quality ingredients, this place could do better. They have 3 out of 4 things that could make this place great, hopefully they up their game on the flavor department.
