Food was very good. Was with a vegetarian friend and they had a lot of options. Service was fast and friendly. Loved the classic flavors and their drink menu was really fun!

It actually has some of the best Boba drinks around. And the food is actually surprisingly good as well. It's a bit of a surprise upside restaurant!

I haven't ordered the food here yet BUT I have stopped in for the boba many times. They have such a unique boba tea menu from mango pomelo sago to tiramisu lattes along with regular boba tea options as well. I'm way more impressed with their boba tea menu and quality than Boba Guys right across the street. There is also a convenient little kiosk at the front where you can input your order which is nice if you're an introvert, are indecisive, or have anxiety ordering things (lol). My only complaint is that I've tried ordering the boba online for pick up a couple of times and the system hasn't worked for me. I'll input my order, get ready for check out, and as soon as I input my card and press finish it says "oops there is an issue". I tried a few different cards (and know my credit cards are fine) and it still does this. Not sure if that's an issue on my end with internet, etc. but it's happened a couple of times. So I'll mostly just order in person and it's fine. The restaurant side has a mom and pop family feel to it. I'll have to try the food sometime soon!

This has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants on the Peninsula. Fresh ingredients carefully prepared and presented by a family who really care about their customers. We loved the soup dumplings, the squirrel fish, mu shu pork, pork fried rice and won ton soup. All delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Yan's Garden is definitely a one-stop shop for all your asian cuisine needs. From boba tea and pot stickers to Mu Shu pork and Pineapple Chicken fried rice, this place has truly got you and your taste buds covered from beginning to end. I stopped in recently with my boyfriend for dinner and we had such an excellent experience. I love the family-run dynamic of this place... They're a fast-paced bunch and very efficient! The food here is not only prepared with the freshest of ingredients, but its also bountiful in portion and you can't beat the homemade taste! We shared between the two of us practically a whole feast... but enough for lunch leftovers the following day. Based off what we ate, i'd highly recommend: Hot & Sour soup, BBQ Pork Buns, Honey Walnut Chicken and Orange chicken. I also paired the meal with a black sugar milk tea and that was delicious--an absolute must, for the next time you visit. Long story short--the food and the service is above par and you can't beat the bang for your buck here. The menu is plentiful so the possibilities are endless. I look forward to future stops here!

I order orange chicken and vegetable fried rice, i think you guys didn’t know to make fried rice! Because it’s was just plain rice with vegetables. I’m pretty sure you didn’t use to fresh vegetables. (Frozen veggies) Also for orange chicken wasn’t crispy and it was really dry. I was so hungry but right now I’m not happy. I hope everybody will see my comment!

Awesome location on Laurel street. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is great! We tried an eggplant dish and a tofu dish, both were very good. We also ordered Dan-dan noodles. Very impressive! Super tasty and the noodles are very high quality. Portion sizes are very large. Ambiance is comfortably laid back. Some tables along the wall have couches for seating. We will definitely be back

As the crackling rice soup came out and I heard the sizzle accompanied by the smell of hot broth. Memories of my childhood surfaced in a matter of seconds. Only this time, I was able to share this moment with my own child and husband. The food was outstanding, I have not encountered amazing Chinese food in YEARS! But this place took the cake. We ordered the typical soup, appetizer, fried rice, generals chicken, Mongolian beef and roasted duck. All of it was 100/100! My son is not one for vegetables but found himself eating all the vegetables out of the Mongolian beef. I indulged in the soup since it was a cold rainy day. Of course my husband had the whole duck. The service went beyond our expectations. The servers and chef were so kind and welcoming. It made us felt as if we had already known them. Can't wait to go back!

Make sure to order from Yan's Garden's website or call them, and not through Beyond menu. Beyond Menu really shafted us and never send the order to Yan's. The people at Yan's are kind hearted and felt really bad about the issue and rushed our order. Upon delivery the woman who delivered our food apologized profusely (she was really sweet) I give a 5 star because they recognized that the app was at fault and did whatever it took to make it right. Regarding the food: Their wanton soup is the BEST (I feel like it can cure any illness). I always order it when I am sick. They always give you generous portions of veggies, the broth is light and doesn't overpower from the wontons. The wontons are the perfect size and don't require multiple bites to eat them. Thank you Yan's Garden for being super awesome and there is no doubt in my mind we will continue to order from you in the future!

I got rancid chicken in my takeout. They either aren’t storing raw meat safely or are keeping stock too long. That is unacceptable ever for a restaurant. There is no excuse to serve rancid food.

I got rancid chicken in my delivery order (sesame chicken). Other items tasted fine, but they get negative stars from me for serving spoiled food. They either have serious issues with safe food storage or keeping food too long. But for food safety, there are no excuses. Feedback: Immediately throw out all your raw meat, and re-evaluate your food storage process. Check the temps, age, dates, everything. You're going to end up hospitalizing someone.

One of our favorite places for lunch or dinner in San Carlos. Great lunch specials with terrific food. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. We've been coming here for years.
