First time going here and it was a Sunday night with a couple friends. Service was fine but the sushi I highly recommend NOT getting anything with a California roll made into it or anything with mayo drizzled on top for that matter. Something was wrong with the mayo like as if it was past its expiration and that same mayo was what held together the crab in the center. If you know good sushi you shouldn't be able to taste the mayo but I tasted it in every roll I had and it overpowered everything else..i tried other rolls like the spicy tuna tempura and the yummy role but it wasn't spicy and the rolls had just a bland flavor to it.

POGIBALLS RATINGS Big Sky Sushi, San Dimas CA #pogiballseats Instagram @big_sky_sushi Overall rating 4 Stars Light snack before dinner "Spicy BBQ chicken Bowl / Gyoza / Alaska Roll" Food 4 Stars Service 4 Stars Restaurant Cleanliness 4 Stars Restroom 4 Stars Price $$$** The Spicy BBQ chicken was delicious. The chicken was nicely cooked and the ratio of chicken and rice was perfect. Also it was spicy like how it says it was on the menu, so it had some kick to it. Mixed with onions, chives and sesame seeds with there special teriyaki sauce. The other dish the gyoza had six pieces to it and was ok and was a good appetizer. The Alaska Roll was had nice cuts of fish on top of warm and well prepared rice. Also a good dish. I would dine here again.

Food was OK. Rolls are small, or the result of the buy one get one promo is they make em small on purpose. Absolutely not worth the money, when there are a few other sushi places around that are much better. Service was slow, despite only a handful of customers.. looked like maybe a husband and wife team were the only people working? Came on a hot day, because who doesn't like sushi when it's hot outside, and got no ice in our water, and never got the refills we asked for.

I've never been here before and I was craving sushi, Got here at 9:18 pm on a Monday and they're already closed. I would understand if they had "new" business hours because of Covid but they have no other business hour signs. It's unprofessional, it says a lot about a business I guess I should've called.

-1,000,000 stars. Would never eat here. Discriminates against special needs children. My family and I (2 adults and one toddler) went to Big Sky Sushi to celebrate the end of a hectic school year. We've eaten here several times, as it is walking distance from our home. My son is 3 years old and he is an autistic person. My child stims and makes a sound that's hard to explain. A man (maybe chef/owner) rudely told me "tell him be quiet, no more, I have customers. No more." He made a bunch of hand gestures while taking. The waitress came over and was making "shh!" sound with her finger repetitively and shaking her head. I explained that my son is autistic and there are moments he can't control his verbal sounds as he has a severe language delay and hearing issues, so I simply can't tell him to be quiet, as he can't help it. Before becoming upset with anyone I always feel it best to educate people and explain he isn't being rowdy, or rude, that he is autistic and this is a stim. This man and the waitress (perhaps wife) literally didn't want to hear what I was saying. Literally shook their heads "no" and talked over me that "they know." They had two other tables while we were present: one with two ladies with baby, and mind you the baby was being just a loud as my child, and two dudes on a bro date. They didn't ask us to leave but naturally I did as I will not spend my hard earned money at any place that discriminates against any person, especially my child. Dining with my 3-year old autistic child has not been a problem and especially if the establishment actually has a booming business, like say Show Sushi. I have supported Big Sky during this pandemic, even spent my Mother's day there; however after my experience today, I will NEVER give them my business. I am sharing my experience to let other parents, autistics and advocates in our community know what kind of establishment this place is. Oh yeah and I failed to mentioned we had been there for over 20 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. We waited patiently, with no complaints on our end, as we sympathized with the fact they are short-staffed. SMH.

Horrible place, horrible owners! I can't believe how ignorant some people can be and why people like this own a business

Food very average. Didn't taste bad, but nothing special. First time my salmon wasn't pink too. First time here so I ask if any salmon roll or hand roll comes with avocado (mind you I'm all chipper cause I just worked out) she rudely takes menu from me (whuat!!?) as it leaves my fingers LOL she points and says look at the pictures if its there that's what comes inside of not in picture doesn't come. Oh k.....but there's no pictures of hand rolls. So I said ok so I just have to ask to add? She said yes call me when you are ready. she sat me in a space where I'm completely out of sight btw. I said how do I call you? I should've known better just leave. :( but I complied and quickly ordered. she was so impatient w my one roll w/added avocado and one albacore sushi order which took all of two seconds lol she snatched stuff so abruptly she dropped sushi order paper and pen. What is going on? Maybe sushi chef is relative, and they had I fight? I said to myself. In my book Everyone gets one bad day and I'll give that to her. I'm eating and playing a YOUTUBE video on tiding up for summer at low volume. I wouldn't do that if there were other patrons there but I'm all alone and there's elevator music at a volume I wasn't competing with. I here angry chef yell at me and I couldn't make what he was saying but by third time I asked I understood "NO PERSONAL MEETINGS! WE HAVE OUR OWN!" Angrier because he had to repeat himself. I'm like "no personal meetings?" He said yes! We have our own! Well I understood what he meant, put my phone away respectfully (that's what I'd want my kids to do) I did think Oh...k...if I was white, would he say these things to me? Then I was like bring it waaaay down girl (to myself) just paid almost $20 and made my way out. so if you want so so food it's an ok place :) service?? You may want to give them a chance ‍ This is an experience I felt worthy of my time to share. I won't bring anyone here, and I wouldn't recommend.
