9/01/24. .we ordered the French toast and was very disappointed. They were very dry and hard to swallow if not for my latte to help moisten the toast. For that price, I expected a soft, fluffy yummy toast. .that should have been properly soaked in the milk and egg mixture that you wouldn't even need to decorate it with the whipped cream . .the garlic fried rice with adobo was overwhelmed with whatever other ingredients added making it also too spicy. .it's not worth the price and effort to go there. .

Friendly local place. I recommend it. Prices aren't bad, portions are good. Really homey type of spot. Definitely good for day time food.

Wanted to try this new place nearby. Their furniture and interior seemed pretty unfinished. They could definitely use some more decor to up the vibes, the tables & chairs seemed a bit off putting. I wanted to find a good place to sit but not much seemed that appealing. Also the plates were single use along with the utensils, which is kind of interesting with the price you pay for the dish.
Ordered an iced chai latte w/ oat milk and it was pretty good! It reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch milk, you definitely have to drink it fast before it gets watered down. The breakfast burrito and french toast portions were huge, so at least you get your money's worth somewhat. The bread of the french toast itself was kind of dry and doughy, but the whipped cream was semi-sweet and I liked that. It was hard to finish though.
The breakfast burrito with chorizo tasted fresh so it was solid as well. The tortilla was crispy & warm and the seasoning was flavorful. It was filling and the salsa it came with was good.
I think Butter Cafe & Bakery is pretty decent but they could definitely make some improvements to make people feel more comfortable! It was ok for the price. I think next time I'd just get a drink and a pastry/cookie.

Great food and service. Have tried many of the items on the menu and they’re all great. Love the green eggs and ham, tater tots, blueberry corn cake, biscuit sandwich, breakfast burrito. Only wish they would use real plates and silverware. Food tastes better in real plates and their food deserves it!
Kid-friendliness: Great menu for kids. Casual with outdoor seating.

I have tried the coffee cake and blueberry crumble cake from the baked goods selections. Both were very rich as their name implies, but not worth the extra price. The coffee cake was so so. There were blue stains but not one blueberry in the little cake. The San Dimas location has zero ambiance. Prices are about 40% higher than my favorite nearby bakery, Some Crust. I only didn’t go there due to their long lines. I’d much prefer Broken Yolk for a full breakfast.

I had coffee here and I went to the back and did parkour on the fence in the back that leads to the apartments
The line was long but the service was great and the food was very tasty as well I would definitely bring my grandmother ? here or my mom ? or like my sister ?? or whatever or like my cousin or uncle he would probably like this place too it seems like a place he would like he’s very partial to wood and I remember them having these wood benches in the front and inside.
I had the French toast it was super thiccc just how I like just about everything in my life..if it ain’t phiccc I ain’t with it you feel me you have to really love that sort of stuff you must be built for it and my body was ready.
I was out here and I came here with someone but they didn’t even finish their food so I had to grab a to go box ? and that’s always a hassle I think ? they should just have the to go boxes ?️ like in the same spot where they have lids so you can just help yourself to them if you need them…
But
That’s just a suggestion probably doesn’t make any sense from a business standpoint
