Authentic Mexicana dishes served hot from kitchen. The booths are dark wood built high encapsulation for intimacy. The walls have early 1900s American & Mexican western decor. The restaurant itself is on a historic land site in San dimas a company. Community for it's Mexican workers in agriculture. Outside is a outdoor patio to dine. I like it.

Took my family of 3 to lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Staff was very friendly and worked together for any need. I love the enchiladas when I come here and my kid love the rice and beans. Definitely coming back soon!

I'm sorry but, the food has changed for the worse ..
Vickie that has served us for years..
She's amazing!
She is so engaged with customers.
Casa del Rey , you guys got to work on the food menu..
Carnitas was dry. Just other items,
No flavor lost its touch, just no bueno..
Has nothing to do with people serving. It's coming out of that cook.
You guys need to eat your food before you serve it. Test it.
No bueno

I stopped here for a cheese enchiladas plate for me elderly neighbor. He said the food was really good, so 4 stars for that.

I had never been to this restaurant before. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was OK...the meat was pretty dry. The restaurant gets very busy, so get there early to find parking!

Poor service, margaritas were watered down. Food was sub par.

First time in 30 plus years, my order was wrong. From the moment we were seated, I knew it was gonna be an off night. I asked for a Dos XX lager (Green Bottle) and a glass to pour it in, i was told it only comes in a bottle. I said I know that, can I get a glass to pour it in, i was told I don’t know if we do that. Then the food order was wrong, my wife ordered her usual, pork chili verde and bean burrito, the server, then asked if she wanted the red sauce with the chicken verde. She, my wife, said not Chicken, pork verde and bean burrito. My wife reply was just how t usually comes, a wet style burrito. I’m pretty sure Verde is Green. I ordered the all Carne Asada crispy bowl Salad and I got a Carne Asada tostada salad with beans, on a flat tostada, not the fried tortilla bowl. It was good, same price, but the staff need to pay attention to what people are ordering. I asked for my sour cream and guacamole on the side, as it usually come on the salad, but had to ask for it after the food arrived. Food was good, and i tipped well over the customary 20 percent, but I think some of the newer people there might need to pay attention little bit more attention in writing down orders

Excellent food and atmosphere. The food was very, very good. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been too. The chips are excellent, you can tell house made. Dalsa was excellent too!! They had hot and regular, both were very tasty, I loved the spicy the most. They pay attention to the little details. Been around a long time but first time I have eaten here. I will be back! Service is great and prices are good as well!! Also loved the atmosphere with dim lighting and old mesa style decor, it's a lovely ambiance. (I get migraines, so I enjoy the dimly lit restaurants)

Their food is good!! Friendly servers and bartender makes you feel welcomed. Don't believe the bad reviews. They don't know what they're talking about. How can you complain about salsa with not enough salt and greasy tortilla chips??? Their food is authentic and delicious.
