The food is comparable to any mexican place, nothing stood out except the chips and salsa. The chile rellenos are not good, very eggy and made with Anaheim chile not poblano. The place is old school and I enjoyed the decor.
For a local joint, you can't miss it here. Yes, it's pretty much tex mex, but what sets this place apart is consistency!! Plus, the prices are never outrageous, and you'll never be shy of a good portion. They have constant good specials going, most of the staff have been there for a long time, again you just can't miss it here. One of these few places that actually seasons their food and makes fresh chips.
