something has changed at this establishment. i ordered $80 of food, no one in the restaurant for 10 minutes. someone enters and I'm guessing someone more regular than me, orders his food, leaves for a few minutes, and comes back getting his 2 or 3 item order before me. another 15 later and then my food order is done. smh. am i expecting too much? was my order, 10 minutes before the other customer and a much larger one with more than a 20% tip on a walk in pickup order too much to ask to get done as soon as I'm done paying for it?don't know, but that makes me less likely to recommend this place in the future, and less likely to visit again as well. i have another review someplace and will be adjusting that one as well.

Food is similar to what you would get in a good Ono Hawaiian Bbq. Everything is fresh and hot. What's exceptional here is the service. I am very impressed the way they treat their customers. I wish I was able to tip them but they didn't have a Tip option and I didn't have any cash with me.Definitely recommended for a decent hot meal with an exceptional service.

Lovey lil spot, super sweet and cute Asian couple seem to own the spot and he gave me really good suggestions, was helpful, and patent. I'm Japanese and Hawaiian and this place food wise is fire! Even their teriyaki sauce you can tell is proper and high quality. Portions are generous, definitely coming back here a lot.

I got the garlic white fish plate and thought it was very tasty. The fish was kind of thin, so if your trying to compare it to other Hawaiian bbq's you might be disappointed but I liked it a lot!My husband got the chicken and beef combo and said he had had better.
Great prices for decent food. You don't get fruit salad like the picture on the menu shows; you get steamed veggies instead which is fine. I've been twice and gotten plate lunches with chicken katsu and bbq chicken. You get a lot of food and it's nice helping out a mom and pop small business.

Food is great, to many homeless people around....while I'm waiting for food Homeless Lady drops bags and uses bathroom to bath. Then is allowed to use personal cup from bag to get Soda.I'm all for helping people but food service industry has to be careful.I'm not going back.
