La Villa has been my FAVORITE Mexican joint ever since we moved to San Dimas in 1995. The food and service are consistently excellent. I rate my Mexican places by salsa and beans (silly, i know!) and their's is THEE BEST! I now live 30 miles away and still drive here when I need Mexican food!

Been goin here for over 15 years . Have not been there in about 6months, went last night will not go being back place is dirty and service very poor . The original crew was great never got cold food from them and never had to ask for anything you were taken care of all the time and we tipped heavy because we were regulars. Place could be a gold mine , but just a whole in the wall now So sad we are only 4 blocks from this place .

I ordered Caldo De Pollo (chicken soup) at a time I had Covid 19. My take out had two small pieces of chicken and pieces of vegetables that are normally not put in. I was very disappointed. I called to complain but the phone was turned over to the father that spoke Spanish only. This is not authentic Mexican food…. It’s very bland & watered down.

Came here due to reviews but was very disappointed in the food. My chili relleno was overcooked - burned and flat as a pancake. They did swap out for a cheese enchilada but it was not very tasty. They have margaritas on the menu but they are wine-based, not tequila. Tasted awful.
The service was exceptional and the ambience was nice. Lots of local residents.
Sad we won’t be back as this seems like a nice place - just not good food IMO.

Amazing food and people Shredded beef tacos and taquitos are really good. Rice and beans are pretty decent too! Flan tastes great and their seasonal pumpkin flan is really good. Everyone there is nice and easy going.
