This cute bakery in downtown San Dimas had caught fire a few weeks ago. The opening was yesterday after the renovation, and it is simply adorable! They have some new items on the menu now they have outdoor seating and all the same friendly, helpful faces. They added a vegan option to the menu which is an Alaskan bake, it is delicious! If you haven't tried their sweet, tamales definitely a must! And if you're looking for a dessert to share with the family you need to try their giant cookie sandwich full of delicious ice cream in the middle. Stop bye and and treat yourself to a treat. You won't be dissatisfied.

Called about getting a last-minute cake--didn't even need a full custom cake--just a custom message. I was told they weren't open yet, that she had interviews and she would return my call later. She also mentioned prices to which I agreed to. Never called back.Busy day? I get it. Don't have time for an order or a last-minute job that's an in-store pick-up in 3 days? TELL ME THAT, don't say you'll call back and then you don't.I should've called someone else straightaway but had faith due to the good reviews and that my friend (who the cake was for) is a fan and follows this shop on Instagram.Plenty of other shops in town who actually want to make cakes and have customer service... look elsewhere.

She is so sweet. My aunt needed a cake very last minute and she was super sweet and did what she could. The cake turned out amazing. And the owner is literally so sweet that me and my aunt just sat there talking to her because she is so nice

Not impressed with this tiny $110 cake. The baker was too distracted to add the details I asked for so she put them in last minute. When I went for the cake, it didn't have the ghost, coins, or mushrooms.I feel so ripped off. I've never paid so much for a birthday cake.

My first time trying this bakery, I didn't realize they were there! Such a sweet lady, I believe is the owner. She was able to get my order in super last minute and even changed the color from green to pink when I picked them up. They were pricey.. but gluten free! I needed them for a party where one child had a high gluten allergy.

First off, a huge Thank You to owner Celine for recreating this beautiful and delicious cake from my wedding day. When I went to pick up the cake, seeing it made me a bit emotional in the best kind of way-Thank you!! :')I don't know how I managed to miss this gem of a bakery in the heart of San Dimas. What?!?!? The service I received from the moment I first called San Dimas Cake was not just professional but very attentive. Celine gives friendly family vibes as soon as you walk in. I showed her a pic of my original wedding cake, she made sure to write down specific details; flavor, flowers, etc..she did not disappoint. I found my new bakery and it's local:) Thank you again Celine! Highly recommend.

I ordered about 4 dozen cup cakes and a two tiered cake for my wedding that just passed. Everything turned out amazing! Fairly priced and Celine made my cake testing experience so much fun. Highly recommend for any bride out there stressed about a cake testing, you will definitely get a comforting/fun atmosphere with Celine.

Celine, and her treats were highly recommended by a close friend. Unfortunately everything we discussed about and ideas for my daughter's sweet 16 cake came very short. The cupcakes that we purchased for cake tasting beyond delicious. She promised and reassured us that she focuses on the cakes being that moist and the buttercream was home made she did not use the pre made buckets. For a 4 tiered cake she quoted us $1300. She promised it was going to be extravagant. I still gave her a picture of what we had in mind and I was open to her being creative and she said she doesn't duplicate other bakers work, which i respect. One of the ideas for the bottom layer was that she came up with match the design with my daughters dress instead of the flowers seen in the picture i provided. The cake we got the day of my daughters special day was placed crooked and not stable whatsoever. The gold parts on the picture I gave her had texture and I asked if that could be the same, but we got fondant painted with gold. As you can see on the bottom layer that instead of lace design we got flowers that just look like pieces of fondant falling off the cake. When it came to cake cutting and pictures my husband and I had to hold the layers so it would not fall. The amount we paid for which instead of $1300. We paid $1915.49 for the price of the cake I expected perfection! This was amateur work, I emailed her and she has not bothered to reply or apologize it just seems like she rushed on the cake and doesn't care, you pay in advance so there is nothing you can do . The piece I got was suppose to be vanilla bean and it was just plain white no flavor and dry. Don't bother buying a tiered cake. Too expensive horrible work.

Celine and her bakery came highly recommended. I was so excited for our cake tasting for my daughter's sweet 16. For our scheduled cake tasting she provided some cup cakes I believe we paid 45 for the appointment. I noticed she had no note pad to write down all ideas. I came with a printed picture of what we wanted. She let me know that she doesn't duplicate other bakers work. I respect that but I asked for the gold parts to be exactly with the texture. I was open to her creativity. She was really nice and her cupcakes super moist and delicious. I knew that if the cupcakes came out this delicious I could imagine the cake. So we decided to book her. She gave me a guesstimate of $1300. A little pricey but I could imagine how delicious they would be since she was recommendedfrom a close friend. Final appointment no contract was made. She offered a free topper with my daughters name and the bottom layer would be the lace design of my daughters dress. I asked for several weeks if she could forward the contract so I can budget the total. Two days before my daughters party she sends it. Total different pricing $1915.49 I had no choice because I knew I would not find anybody else on short notice. The day of our event the cake arrived and when we arrived with my daughter I xouldnr believe that was the cake! It was horrible painted gold fondant and the cake was crooked and we had to hold it when my daughter was cutting her cake for pictures. Unfortunately the cake was dry and the piece I got was suppose to be vanilla bean like the cupcake but it was just white dry cake with cream and fondant. Not happy!! Unfortunately she lost a customer. I emailed her to give her a review and let her know and she has not replied back. I don't want any money back just a apology. I have a small business as well and I know how important it is to have satisfied customers and word of mouth recommendations. Don't bother over priced over dry layered cakes!

Design on top of the cake was not what I ordered, I asked and paid for a Fondant topper and she gave me cardboard drawing. Cake favor was okay not amazing. The frosting on the cake was solid like a rock when cutting it.Her art is amazing but that’s it. Would not recommend.

Cakes are amazing but decor can be better! The flavor is great but it is very pricey for simple looking cupcakes! I asked for yellow red and blue frosting and ended up getting just all blue. Expected more decor but will say the flavors are good but again way too pricey for simple looking cakes

Best birthday cake ever! Thank you Celine and San Dimas Cake for making my daughter Priscilla's bday cake! Celine literally made all our wishes come true. My daughter is very simple and loves loves funfetti and sprinkles. San Dimas cake delivered with the most delicious 2 tier Moana bday cake. My guest loved the surprise sprinkles inside the cake. And most of all, my daughter loved her cake. One of the best cakes we've had in a long time. San Dimas cake will definitely be our go to for all birthdays and special occasions.

The owner was pretty horrible! She charged us for cupcakes and we paid for them and she tossed them out because we didn't pick them up by a certain time! She will nickel and dime you for everything and I don't find this to be an honest practice.
