Alex Madonna’s Gold Rush Steak House

Came with the family for my son's 30th birthday. Three of us ordered steaks which were delicious! My daughter ordered the fried chicken and loved every bite! Attention to service detail was impeccable and the ambiance was fall decor with the appropriate Madonna pink flair. Dessert was served so that we could all enjoy embarrassing him by singing... good food and fun was had by all. Will be back!

Since my younger son attended university in Southern California in 2009, we've stopped to stay and or eat at Madonna Inn. My husband had his business reunion there. Alas, this time at the steakhouse, although we had reservations and checked in 5 minutes early, we were not seated for 15 minutes but saw 6 couples seated and 3 of the couples did not have reservations. My husband had to step up to the reservation desk again. My son's, his fiancée and my husband's beef or lamb were dry and overcooked. My husband said his steak was the toughest that he ever had! My son's lamb was also dry. Although we were asked if this was a special occasion and we said that the couple had become engaged there was no celebration treat. Very disappointed with reservation desk and with the meal.

Took my family to dinner for my daughter-in-law's 30th Birthday. Always a great time here. Family friendly, my 5-year-old granddaughter loved her "pink drink". Virgin pink Cloud. Food is always amazing along with the service. Great band and we got to meet the Caftan Girls! We are local and visit the Copper Cafe at least twice a month but love to hit the Steakhouse for special occasions. Thank you, Madonna Family, for another memorable visit. :)

Great ambiance and champagne cake is always a hit. Will likely return for cocktails and cake but will skip on dinner.

Prime rib portion is extremely generous! The place is very unique in a good way! That Friday night band, WOW!!! Bring your dancing shoes!!!

We went for my father's 88th birthday party. Staff was very attentive. The dining area was beautiful and the food was amazing. Must try Champagne cake Madonna's signature cake. My father had such a wonderful evening with his family. Thank you Alex Madonna Gold Rush Steak House for creating a memorable experience!

This is the third year in a row that we have chosen to celebrate our anniversary at Madonna Inn. My wife enjoys the surf and turf. I had the wonderful prime rib salad. They also give a huge slice of their complementary champagne cake.

It's the Madonna Inn, nuff said! The food was great but our server Teresa J was amazing! We never wanted for anything, she couldn't have been more attentive! She is a true asset to the Madonna! We had family from Wisconsin visiting and they were blown away by the Inn, food and service! Well done, we look forward to our next visit. PS we booked the Caveman room for our guests! They loved it😄

Every visit to Alex Madonna Gold Rush Steakhouse has been superb! This time it was for my Birthday and we were sat at the Dolly Parton Booth! What a treat! Our waitress walked us to the table with a Sparkly little "Happy Birthday" sign. What a lovely touch! We started with cocktails, 🍹a shrimp cocktail and of course, a relish platter -Warm, soft bread comes later with dinner and is a array of rosemary and white rolls with creamy butter. We split a Prime Rib Medium, Veggies & Baked Potato, and when the meal came, so did the extra plate, horseradish, au jus and steak knife- so wonderful to not have to ask for them. My sister got the pasta with chicken- and don't sleep on the soup of the day! 💖 We ended our meal with a Pink Champagne Cake and by then we were so stuffed we just went back to the room to enjoy some relaxing. We can't wait to visit again soon!

This restaurant has a very vibrant, flowery interior with a lively atmosphere—people were dancing and truly enjoying their Saturday evening. The setting was beautiful and full of energy. However, while the experience was fun, the food itself was middling. We expected a bit more delicacy and refinement to match the ambiance.

The Madonna Inn is a place that I continue to take visitors to because it is consistently outstanding. I enjoy the ambience, the food and the service. I just admire Mrs. Madonna so much for decorating outside the box. It makes me happy to experience so many highly crafted items in one place. Desserts are always add the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.

The service was amazing. The manager was so awesome. When our food wasn't quite right, he made sure we were taken care of and that the food was done correctly. His kindness and the desire to make things right was evident. I want to thank him and the restaurant for that.

It's a beautiful restaurant, great food, the bread it's amazing delicious and the servers and the environment is very nice!!!

My friend and I loved the restaurant. It's stunning and oh so fun. The food and service were top notch. We loved our whole experience.

The environment was very old school. I'm sure thats what people come for. So its nice if you like that 50's 60's energy. The food was not good. Very bland, unflavored, and very very expensive for no reason. The waitress was very nice and accommodating without being overbearing. The Pink champagne cake we shared at the end was an absolute Win ! I would come to the Inn to have some cake, a coffee and leave. The place needs an update and maintenance but it wasnt terrible
