Arigato has good sushi for good prices served by friendly staff. They have an abundance of rolls, many of which are always discounted. Also always have specials. I think the fish is fresh, and the rolls are pretty well-balanced. Not the best sushi you’ve ever had level, but definitely can recommend

I love this place. Literally never had a bad meal, item, etc in the 6-7 years I’ve been coming here.
Recommend it to anyone, anytime. I like the 5pm time because
People are just getting off work so you don’t wait hardly at all for anything. They are also willing to customize your requests, for a fair price.
Excellent food, excellent staff

Very friendly and good prices. But extremely poor attention to how the rolls are made and cut. Inedible sized pieces and poorly cut fish that's not good quality.

I love, love, love, Arigato Sushi! I haven't had a sushi roll, yet, that looks or tastes cheap. My seven or eight go-to rolls are all fantastic! And the prices are very reasonable, especially for dining in San Luis Obispo. You're looking at $10 to $14 rolls on their discount menu. One roll is adequate for most people at lunch time. If you're extra hungry, I recommend ordering a whole roll for yourselves, and splitting a third roll with your dining partner.

Five Stars, but please make some rolls without cucumber.
Nice, tucked out of the way in downtown San Luis Obispo.
Came to this place 45 minutes before closing and the host had the audacity to say they were closed and would not seat me. Very unprofessional don't waste your time coming here.
Fairly large to go order ($100, 6 or 7 rolls) on a rather busy Saturday night. Ordering was smooth and simple from their website (so refreshing when they've got a restaurant managed online order), but it's time estimate was off by at least 20 minutes (took 1 hour, it gave 40m). This is totally understandable for such a large order on a busy night.
The food is super solid, some was great! California rolls were exactly what we wanted, special rolls are well balanced and consistent and the yellowtail Nigiri fish was a perfect texture and flavor. Worth noting that the yellowtail Nigiri at least had flying fish roe on it without being listed on the online menu so ask for it to be omitted if that's not to your liking. The prices were so so great and really puts arigato at the top of the more budget sushi offerings in SLO. My time waiting in the restaurant gave me a good look at the warm, dimly lit, casual atmosphere, that wasn't too loud or quiet. Can't wait to come back for more and try their takoyaki!

Prices unclear. Stingy with ginger. Runny spicy mayo. Overcharged on bill. Staff not locked in. Would not come here again
Best happy hour sushi in SLO and huge portions.
Stopped in SLO for the night and found this little sushi joint for dinner. Wonderful, friendly, helpful employees. The sushi rolls were large and filling. The mussels were incredible! The price was better than most sushi places we’ve been to as well. We ordered four rolls, mussels, a side of white rice, and a miso soup. Our total was around $60! That’s an incredible value! We are looking forward to going back!
Parking: It is located in a. Small shopping center, so depending on the time you visit, parking may or may not be available. However, we arrived around 6pm on a Thursday and the parking directly in front of the restaurant was free.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs available.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s California! Wheelchair accessibility is the law.
