Always a great place to stop on the Central Coast

This was our first time visiting! We had so much fun feeding the animals. 🌻 I loved picking my own flower bouquet. 💐 They have a great selection of different items you can buy. 🛍️

Such a cute place! From getting to feed the animals, hay rides, picking flowers ,or visiting their food stands. It was a good time. Great place to take the kiddos to for a few hours.

AVB never disappoints when you come early enough for the fresh grilled corn!!! So be quick about it, and come in the morning or lunch hours (later than that is a huge gamble 😆).

We have been coming here since our kids were babies...and now in their 20s, they select their own favorite specialty honey, breads, pies, baked goods, jams, etc. Topping it all off is the petting/feeding of the small cute critters. This is agreat pit stop for all ages!

How did we not find this place sooner? Great spot to stop, grab a bite, and yes, feed the goats and other animals. We are not kids, but we had a blast like we were. Simple, fun, and worth every minute.

And the pies. Unreal. Seriously, just buy one. You will not regret it. We will be coming back every time we pass through.

What an absolutely magical experience! I sincerely believe our toddler had just as much, if not more fun than when we took him to Disneyland, and Avila Valley Barn admission is FREE! Parking is FREE! Our boy loved touching the chickens and feeding the animals. They have goats, emu, peacock, a bull, a cow, donkeys, and more! For $3 you can purchase a head of romaine e lettuce to feed the goats and ponies. Food pellets are also available. They have corn for sale cheap! The corn condiment table has everything you could want. Afterward. You can feed the cob to the goats. Or as our toddler did, pick off individual pieces of corn and feed it to the goats. There’s an ice cream shoppe, candy shoppe, fruit and veggie shop, gift shop, coffee shop, etc. They even offer pony rides.

We will definitely be visiting Avila Valley Barn every time we are in San Luis Obispo county! What a great family experience!

Great for kids and families. Wide variety of fresh produce and pies. Lots of farm animals for children to feed and pet.

I love this place! Im so impressed with the vibe of farm life and kinda like stepping back in time to a simpler life with the farm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I live in Ventura Cali and coming up here is always an instant stress release. I absolutely adore & love the owners too, but maybe just maybe it's because we're family 😊❤️. Jake & Raven you guys are doing a great job!! I'm so impressed with your passion and drive to continue making the barn a fabulous place for anyone to come and visit and get a feel for a simpler time. Love you guys ❤️ I highly recommend to anyone bring your kids and enjoy your time at Avila valley barn.

What a great place to get pretty much any fresh vegetables and fruit that you want! Plus fresh baked pies or take home pies you can cook yourself also the ice cream and barn animals just round out the great experience you can have at this place

There is a lot to discover here! Vegetables, fruits, cakes etc. can be bought on site and various animals can be observed on the site. Worth a stop!
