As soon as I walked in I had a bad feeling. Two men were hanging around talking to the owner and the place smelled of BO, the store really smelled of it. A child was walking around behind the counter which looked really bad. And the most important thing, the ice cream was no better than you could get anywhere. Generic. I think all these positive reviews are fake. No one writes such reviews of a dirty, smelly place like this. Will never go again!

The ice cream and ice cream sandwich made with two cookies was quite good. If you haven't tried it yet, you should.

Yes! They are open! I love their cookies and tonight I got an ice cream sandwich. So good and they are so friendly!

Closed last night anyway, bummer. 5 stars because I'm an optimist and hope they'll be back.

The hours of operation are wrong.Reply to owner response. Maybe change the hours until you open back up then? I've been there like 3 times because I love your dessert, but you're always closed, which makes me sad.

This a really cute little ice cream shop just off the main drag. there weren't a lot of flavors to sample and they were out a couple when we got there. My son got a cookie sandwich that looked pretty good, the cookie was pretty thin though, about 1/4 inch at most. Ice cream was pretty good. I think we tried all the flavors. there were a couple of flavors that we did not care for.

I come to Morro Bay every year from Utah. Batch has been open 4 years... Not. Cool. Chocolate chip cookie, snickers ice cream sandwich. Cookie was warm and soft on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside. Ice cream was perfectly soft, but not melty... Bravo. Update: we showed up at 9:02pm and the girl working was helping about 5 other people in line. "Open" Light was on. We stood outside waiting and turned our backs and she told the other patrons to shut the door and then said "sorry, we're closed...I'm just helping these last few people". Business owners would never turn business away... Millennials are just. . . Wow. Love the customer (dis)service.

We were looking for ice cream in SLO and discovered Batch. Nice folks and delicious flavors. Highly recommend!

I was really excited to try Batch after seeing those delicious-looking cookies in the window, but the ice cream cookie sandwich I ended up getting was just average. The cookies are quite thin, and the fudge cookie was nice and chewy in the center, but the chocolate chip cookie was crunchy all the way through. The mint chip ice cream had great flavor, but they use regular chocolate chips morsels in it, which are too big to eat comfortably once they are frozen and super hard. Some execution issues here, not sure if I would return.

Quality ice cream! I think their specialty is a cookie sandwich. Don't go here if you want a big selection. They just had 6 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Customer service was excellent and we were able to sample everything we wanted as there wasn't much of a line when we went.

The birthday cake ice cream was my favorite- it's made with real cake batter and frosting. They also offer vegan cookies and cream, made with almond milk - a great option for those who choose to avoid dairy. Overall yummy ice cream and nice service! Cookies taste very very fresh!!

Little ice cream boutique. 8 flavors. Good cookies. I had the caramel fudge and mint. Rally good. But the vanilla had pieces of ice... not good thing. Service was good !

Nothing new here. I'm told they make their own ice cream but that's about it. The place is very small, clean, room for 4 people to stand. Service was flat, no welcome feeling and basically summoned with "Next." Sign in the door said they were out of cookies which seems to be the new normal for them so we had a SMALL (think child sized scoop) of ice cream for about $4.00 - maybe more. Pricey when I can go down Higuera and find the reliable homemade ice cream place but we wanted to try to support other small businesses. Anyway, no need to go back. The ice cream was decent and said to be homemade but without the cookie part, what's the point?
