The food is always Ausgezeichnet (excellent) here. We come from Fresno to the coast and try to stop here at least once each trip. When they have the Rinderrouladen (thinly sliced rolled beef dish), don't hesitate to order that! This time we enjoyed reibekuchen (potato pancakes), Jägerschnitzel (breaded pork cutlet with gravy) with Knödel (sauteed potato dumpling slices), and spatzle with onions and bacon. Highly recommend those! Their food is so authentic! Pets welcome on the patio too! Tatiana was our friendly, helpful waitress.. just delightful!

This is my third time here and it is so delicious. It’s my birthday month and I go to all my favorite (and some new places). Here, today, I received wonderful and yummy recommendations from my savvy server including the Black Forest Cake. Light AND filling, certainly for me. I’ll keep coming back, and in fact, unless out of town guests are seeking seafood, I’m going to put this at the top of my list of suggestions. Thanks for a really pleasant afternoon.

If you want to host an outdoor event on their patio space where the food never ends and drinks are plentiful- this is the place to do it. I've never been disappointed with hosting events here and the fantastic staff always catered to us so well!

One of my favorite spots in SLO! Beda and his team are so welcoming and attentive!! The food is outstanding- I always get the spaetzle with mushrooms, carrots, peas, Gouda, bell pepper, and spinach! We love the latkes, the curry fries, and the beer pretzel too! All the sausages are amazing too! The portions are huge and the beer selection is great! Love love love Bedas!!

I used to love this place l, and the food is good, but $31.- ($39 with tip)for a Rouladen weekly special and a glass of water for lunch? Really???????? Did not know that a weekly special implies that it is specially expensive!

I hate to leave a so so review about Beda's Biergarden but last weekend I ordered a sausage sampler, half a liter beer, 1 bowl of soup and 1 black forest cake, that totalled $80.00 and it wasn't filling at all as the sampler plate ($31) was small, the potatoes was so tiny, the bowl of soup was small too ($12) and the black forest cake was so disappointing for $11 dollars, I just feel so ripped off. I like German beer but their food is so so expensive and the seating wasn't great after spending all that money and to think $80 was for one person not 2 people for example. This is why I really miss Spikes Place downtown, they had good food, lots of German beer, better location and better prices.
