It wasn't the best, and wasn't the worst I've had. The jambalaya severely lacked flavor though. I should've known when I saw the large array of hot sauces at the table, this was probably going to be the case. There were more vegetables than meat and it was just really bland and not hearty. I guess because I've had real Cajun/Creole food in Louisiana and elsewhere, this just didn't do it. The shrimp were salad size and there were probably about 7 pieces of sausage in the entire dish. The fried green tomatoes were good though, although you only got 4 slices for $3.75, which is the equivalent of almost a $1/slice. Definitely won't be back.

I didn't eat here so I'm not going to leave a negative star review. Why didn't I eat here? Their menu posted outside on the sidewalk is out dated. Like pre Covid; pre inflation outdated. I believe outside menu had Eggs Benedict @ $10.95 but when you sat down and received "toaday's" menu the price is $14.95 - almost a 40% increase. Hard pass and departed restaurant due to bait and switch on menu pricing.

Must visit anytime I'm in the area. I love this place! I always gravitate towards something with fried green tomatoes. I'd share picture of the food but I gobble it up as soon as I get it.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced, but a glass of orange juice was $7.50! Almost half the price of a breakfast dish and more expensive than even mimosas. We were shocked at the price and didn’t remember seeing it so expensive on the menu but the staff said that it was correct. We’d come back again for the yummy food, but steer clear of ordering drinks in the future just in case lol.

We always stop here when in the area. The faitdodo is my favorite breakfast...I dream about it...it's that good! I do ask for the hash browns instead of grits. We had a bit of everything today. Pain purdu, biscuit and a side of gravy, andouille sausage and scrambled eggs. Absolutely delicious! Our server Noel is a rockstar! It's a "sit wherever you want," if there's not a wait. She brought silverware and menus immediately. She then brought out our coffees and water quickly. She came around with a pot to refill our coffee several times, always checking in. We love sitting on the patio! It's so relaxing with the sound of birds and the warm sun. Looking forward to our next visit!

Different option for breakfast. Originally we were on our way to the restaurant across the street for brunch but ended up going here. If you are looking for a healthier, clean option this is not the restaurant. Also, I felt like the place itself wasn’t the cleanliness.

The food was good. I just wish the fried green tomatoes ? weren't so oily. I'd still recommend trying them though. ?Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ♿️ friendly both indoor and patio

This place was hyped up as one of the best brunches in the area so I was very excited to come here. We arrived around 11:00am on a Sunday and it took maybe 15 minutes for us to get a table Our waitress promptly took our drink order and returned quickly with them. She took our food order at that time and we ordered the French Quarter Omelette and the Fat Tuesday Omelette. They accidentally brought us 2 Fat Tuesday Omelettes but were quick to fix it. The Fat Tuesday was flavorful and definitely the better of the two. The French Quarter Omelette was stuffed so much it was challenging to eat. The flavor was okay. The biscuit was very dry but the hash browns were phenomenal. I would come back to try dinner once but other than that, I would've recommend this restaurant to others.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for years and finally did on a Wednesday lunch time. The service was nice and it's a cool restaurant next to the train station. It wasn't terribly busy and everything happened quickly. I tried the seafood gumbo. I am no expert on creole food. I just know I thoroughly enjoyed my gumbo and cornbread. I was pleasantly surprised with the price and portion size. Definitely worth the money and I will return soon to try something new.

Cute little place with great Mardi Gras decor. We got there when they opened and could pick our table. Super friendly and attentive singke waitress was taking care of the entire place. I had the pain Perdue, which had a great sugary crunch, and the syrup was delicious. My friend enjoyed the Cajun skillet with grits and a biscuit. She e joyed it so much she was doing her happy chair shiny. Really great place, which I will definitely return to when I am in the area.
