Been trying to give this place a chance , but it's a hit n miss each time with quality of food. Today I ordered a shrimp taco, carnitas taco.. Shrimp were way over cooked total rubber carcasses...never again will I get this. Carnitas, was super dry, almost burnt, with an odd smell, so I did not eat it. This was at the Los Osos Valley location. I've tried a few times, and 7 out of 10 it's a TOTAL MISS... That at times I just throw away. Not goung to get much of my business with how they are doing now.... They better get with the program.. I wish their workers would actually eat some of the food they cook....they would then know how bad it is....

Based on the reviews, we had high hopes. Apparently there are a lot of people who are easily satisfied with mediocre fair, we are not. First of all, this is a self service restaurant. You order at the counter, walk across the room and get your plastic knife, fork and napkins etc. then go and sit at one of several long picnic tables. The menu is basically Mexican food which is why we came in. The pricing is what you'd expect at a table service restaurant with complimentary chips and salsa, but absent here. Your food comes out on paper plates and the portions are meager. The home made corn tortillas would have been much better if they weren't so greasy. The Chili Verde, usually served with a tangy, spicy green tomatillo sauce, was just too salty and a bit oily without that tang you expect. It was served with a scoop of brownish guacamole that had that "stored in the refrigerator for a day or two taste" yuck, inedible. The rice and beans that came with the dish were tasty but you only get one table spoon of each. We also ordered the Mexican Chopped Salad. This salad contains no greens, it's just unripe mango cubes, black beans, corn and diced bell pepper served in a small mound on a paper plate. Again inedible. What a disappointment. They've only been open for two weeks, so maybe it will get better?

What a disappointment! At first they had a lot of business, which is when I ate here. My first impression was the cashier didn't seem interested in helping me or taking my order. Then the food was way overpriced. The Street tacos were just okay but too many onions for my taste. Now they seem to have very few customers. In addition, while out walking in the morning I've seen the van that delivers to them and it's absolutely dirty and disgusting. I can't imagine eating here again after seeing such unsanitary conditions. No thanks!

Too expensive for such a small portion. I've tried talking to them about staff needing to be more considerate and polite to no avail. The tacos were half the size as posted in picture. Big disappointment.

Had dinner there last night and the food was great! We ordered delivery before, liked it, and wanted to go in. Hot chicken sandwich was really spicy and just what we were looking for! Shrimp were amazing and the Mac n cheese balls are dangerously good. Definitely going back!

But I think Rib Line still owns it. The menu is more casual / varied than Rib Line (in fact, they had no sirloin sandwich on the day we visited, so I don't know if the Rib Line heritage flows through.) We had two chicken sandwiches - my wife had the Fancy Chick and I had the Hot Chick. Our server warned me that my sandwich was very spicy ?. She was right! The portions were very large. I probably would order tacos next time in hopes of getting a more manageable size. We will try them again sometime.

I have to say I was Very disappointed, I try to support restaurant's for take out, especially now during Covid. I had 45 minutes I place my order and asked how long it would be so, 10 minutes was ty he reply. Well 35 minute passed, I got my food a basic salad with pre cooked beef. . Sorry I was not impressed.

The fancy chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had!! Found out that this is a pop-up so the food will always be changing. Hoping they stay open because this concept is super cool!!!

The chicken sandwich was terrible. Painfully Spicy! Took one bite after waiting 20mins. During that 20mins the host didn't once stop talking to the cook. My wife and I were the only people in the entire place, 7pm Thursday. I told the host after the one bite and threw the whole thing away in disappointment. We love spice and flavor but that chicken was terrible. Please try your food before serving.

The hot chicken sandwich was unbearably spicy and I like my spicy food. Could not take more than one bite before throwing the whole thing away. I mentioned to the host when I got the sandwich about how unbearable hot it was And I was going to be throwing the whole thing away because it was way way too spicy. Just coated with thick spice. We waited 20 minutes for that sandwich and we were the only people at the switch. I don't think her conversation stopped once with the cook during that whole 20 minutes. Not very enjoyable after waiting 20 minutes. Thursday 7 PM. Do not get the hot chicken sandwich. Is disgustingly loaded with too much spice mixture. They should definitely try their food before serving it.

The two stars are for the taco challenge they've had w/ birria tacos, it was a HUGE hit, they were super busy and handled it well, HOWEVER, came here again on a Thursday night for another awesome meal and was SUPER DISAPPOINTED! It was dead, we were the ones there and the cashier saw us walk up and kept talking to the chef... RUDE. We ordered the hot chick and some Mac Balls and after literally 25 minutes of waiting for a CHICKEN SANDWICH, I took a bite and spit it back out, my mouth is STILL on fire as I'm writing this review & I loooove spicy food, but this wasn't even good! It was so salty and terribly spicy. The Mac balls were cold and didn't have much taste, maybe my taste buds got burnt off, idk. Ah, I wanted to like this place so bad cus it's walking distance from my place, but w/ that customer service - no thanks. Oki Momo next door is worth the wait.

Went with some friend this weekend to get food because this was highly talked about in the circle of friends that have been, however after ordering the Hot chick sandwich and getting four bites down I had to pass. About 15 minute in and my mouth was on fire and I asked the lady at the register what was in the chicken because it only said Nashville Hot. Ghost Peppers are not Nashville hot. They lady just said "oh our supplier is a hit or miss due to the hotness of the pepper. Didn't know I was about to go into a food challenge. Maybe next time list the ingredients. Fries were the best part.

Was excited to try this place...Worst chicken sando I've ever had. I love spicy food and I couldn't handle this sando. Oily with crushed red peppers all over. Will not be back.

I payed 12 dollars for these two tacos. Not sure what else to say. No way these are worth 6 dollars a piece.
