I’m not sure I’ve had a more nasty Cookie than this. It was horrible. I cannot believe I paid for that.

Yelp reviews on this place made it seem like it would be a great place to try for dessert for us to bring back home for my son. Boyfriend and I walked in and the place was cute and all. Customer service was ehh. The boy sitting behind the counter was busy on his phone when we walked in. A family walks in as we were paying to the other employee and he immediately gets up grabs a tray with samples on it and walks straight to them and asked if they'd like to sample them. How come we didn't get to try the cookie samples? I would've loved to try them first before spending money on these cookies that were DRY AF. We would've went else where. Will I or my family be back? Naw we'll pass. If you like dry, powder like balls called "cookies" by all means, you do you.

After hearing that these were "the best cookies EVER" we tried some.We got chocolate chunk, lemon sugar, snickerdoodle, brown butter sea salt honey, and ginger molasses. They were very good, for the most part. I would even say the brown butter sea salt honey and lemon sugar were excellent. The ginger molasses didn't taste at all gingery, and the texture was wrong for molasses cookies, I think because they were large.Overall, decent cookies- better than Crumbl by far- but nothing really special. Kind of overpriced for the quality and quantity if I'm honest. I didn't have a BAD experience but I'm not excited to go get more next time I'm in SLO.

I was gifted a package of 6 "Brown Butter Sea Salt Cookies/PECAN".They were from a friend who was visiting the "Wine Country". She had heard good things about this bakery and wanted to check it out.Well, under the banner of my favorite saying: "De gustibus non est disputandum", for me, they were 'gawd-awful'.My mouth asked me a question, it wondered why I put 'mildly pecan flavored sand in it'. Really, IF they do offer you an sample, or better yet, ask for one, before you spend any money on these rather expensive cookies(?).

The chocolate chip didn't seem extraordinary to me, though chewy and good, but the pecan shortbread was fantastic. Thankfully I had a coffee in hand, because the shortbread just screamed to be paired with a delicious hot tea or coffee. The perfect accompaniment to a hot drink (though no doubt also good with cold milk or coffee) - the drop-shape cookie not too big but big enough and very rich and buttery. The counter attendant wasn't particularly enthusiastic or informative for my first visit while traveling in the area, but I got enough information by asking questions.Recommended for a sweet treat - and there are coffee shops right nearby!

Stopped in here while on vacation. They were unfortunately having to close early, but they gave us cookies on the house. Wonderful cookies and wonderful service. Will be back.

Super tasty cookies, and the nicest customer service. I don't usually like shortbread cookies, but the sample she gave us was so delicious and buttery.

It's a cute corner cookie shop! When in town, we always pop in to bring goodies home. The smaller round cookies are definitely more shortbread types - think de la Rosa marzipan cookies. They're on the dry side, but with a coffee, my family loves them. The new thing I found and loved though was their larger flat cookies! We got a small thing of the honey one and it's sweet and salty and so delicious! Wish we bought more as we got two three packs and ate them all on the way home.If you're unsure of what to get, ask someone to see if they have samples. Often there's a tray behind the counter for samples, but if it's busy, sometimes they're not always offered. Also, my tip: check the expiration date on the bottom of the bags. Sometimes they're mixed together. We've found that some bags expire quick, some have more shelf life/fresher.

This is based solely on the cookies delivered. I didn't order it but someone had sent it to us as a surprise. The original and cocoa brown butter cookies were well packed with plenty of cushion. The original was okay. Kinda crumbly, with a nice buttery flavor. I brought the cocoa brown butter cookiesto my work place and I had two people tell me that it was not what they expected. One said, what kind of s**t is this? Feeling embarrassed, I tried one. I had to agree with that person. It's was terrible. Now, it 'could' be because I live in Las Vegas and the heat in transit may had did something to the taste and texture but why did the original one arrived okay? We have brought it into the house as soon as it was delivered. Will have to get another batch either in person or order it during cooler weather and do an update.

It's conveniently located downtown, and gets a lot of foot traffic. Cool music playing in the background (Drops of Jupiter by Train) so tv was nice. They get a star because the girls working there were super friendly and sweet. So good service . Only two stars for the people and location. The cookies taste like cardboard. If you like something that has very little taste and is dry - go for it. We felt bad so we bought three cookies, gave them to a homeless man and his dog. I saw the dog spit it out. Maybe the dog has higher standards than me!
