Great dinner with friends. Caesar salad, beet salad, lasagna, mushroom ravioli, Salmon and shrimp piccata. The only downside were the slow drink delivery. (Not our server's problem, but a slow bartender.)

Everything was very good, especially the service. Crystal is wonderful. The sand dabs we had were perfectly prepared–lightly sautéed and delicate. My only complaint, and it is a mild one, was the piccata sauce on the sand dabs. It may just be a personal preference, but I thought the sauce needed a touch more lemon for balance. I've had their Scampi Piccata and I thought the sauce was much better on that dish. We will be back.

Owner greeted us at the door. Bartender had created Limoncello Martinis and they were perfect start for the evening. Special 4 course menu that has some flexibility was great. Seating outside worked well for our group who are hearing-challenged by the noise in large open room setting. Wine selection is broad and consider them a 'good value for what is being offered.

While dinner at Cafe Roma is always a treat, we were especially pleased to find an excellent tasting menu at a bargain price! We ordered each of the dishes and shared them. Everything was delicious, the service impeccable (thank you, Greg!), good martinis and a bottle of wine, with a cappuccino to round out the evening. We will return before ent end of the month to take advantage of this great menu! Thank you!

This restaurant was my best find on my trip. Food and service, tops. I had the home made meat ravioli and a dinner salad. I was told the the owners mom, 91. came in everyday to hand make the ravioli. Best I ever ate! My server, Crystal, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and kind. I traveled alone on this trip but I didn't feel alone at dinner, because of Crystal. She visited with me and made me feel like family.

Always an outstanding evening. Food Great, servers on top of things and Mario the owner makes his rounds to see if everything is ok. Been here many times always great. This was the first time I saw and order the "Fix Price Menu." Very good value.

Cafe Roma is always very consistant, and their food is superb. The prices are very reasonable for fine dining with waiters who are dressed the part. You can never go wrong here. Family owned by real Italians from Northern Italy.
Our favorite Italian restaurant in San Luis Obispo, great service and delicious authenticate Italian food, and they have a nice heated outdoor porch you can bring your dog, we go there once a week and never disappointed!

Amazing atmosphere, and friendly staff. The chicken Parmesan was phenomenal. the tortelli De Zuca was good, but it was way too sweet it’s ravioli filled with a candied squash. But aside from that I truly enjoyed my visit and will return when I come back to the area.

A large and basic menu, it can be hit and miss depending on what you order. We like this destination as it is away from downtown SLO on a Friday or Saturday night. It can be noisy and cramped inside and the patio is dog-friendly.
Made a reservation and waited 20 mins to be sat due to the business of the restaurant. Waiter was attentive and food was good. The waiter recommended a food wine for the table. The restaurant was loud due to a large group nearby.
