Saw an ad on TV over the weekend. saw it again on Monday, so I decided to go on Tuesday to get two burgers for five dollars. The clerk was super rude treated me like I was an idiot, said there was no such deal, and I ended up just turning around and leaving.

Stopped on Sunday 9/27 around 12:45 counter associate was wonderful...he was polite, I was greeted with a smile and told to have a great day. It's really rare to get that type of service anywhere today.....the lobby is clean, bathroom was just as clean...grat experience...

The 2 working the registers today have always done a great job every time I come in. They are quick, friendly and accurate. I've never had an issue with an order. They are great.

The bathroom was smelly and not as clean as it should be for public use, when I went in to the bathroom one of the workers was using the urinal and when he finished he went to the sink combed his hair and went back to work. After that I was not hungry for the food I ordered , so I took the burger and gave it to a homeless guy laying next to the building!!

I got a bunch of coupons in the mail for Carl's Jr. and since I know that Cal Poly is out of class now our town has shrunk to about half its normal size. This makes it easy to get in and out of places that might be more crowded during the school year.The store at Marigold is large and clean, and has a kiddie play structure outdoors beside it. There is lots of handicapped parking and I saw several older people taking advantage of that option. It wasn't at all crowded inside, since it was mid-afternoon when I went in.I wanted to try their spicy chicken sandwich, since I have enjoyed the McDonald's version frequently on road trips and I used to go to the Carl's Jr. in Arroyo Grande for dinner when I had to work late and liked their chicken sando. I got the BOGO for a dollar chicken sando and then left the choice of the burger to the very helpful worker behind the counter. He said the Western Bacon Cheeseburger was the best buy, so I ordered away.The food was ready almost immediately! I was also impressed with the size of the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, which was stuffed with a big burger patty, cheese, two strips of bacon, and onion rings with BBQ sauce. This thing is a monster!I enjoyed the chicken sandos, but they were a bit spicy for me! We deconstructed the WBC burger and it made two meals for my Mom, who loves burgers. Great value for money, and a fun and easy meal!

-- ONE OF THE BEST -- Carl's Jr.'s I've visited! The service was exceptional, the place is clean, very child friendly, the food was great, and the whole experience was very pleasant and hassle-free!! A special shout out to Caleb who took our order and made sure we were good.. He went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted and our time there a pleasant experience as w had our grandson and extra work was needed.. GREAT PLACE!
