“I highly recommend Holly of The Cheese Box Co. for her wonderful charcuterie boards. My husband and I hosted a day-after wedding open house at our home. Several of our guests were vegan, so we were delighted to find The Cheese Box Co. because in addition to standard charcuterie and fruit boards, there is a vegan charcuterie board option. Holly’s customer service and communication was consistently outstanding throughout the process, especially considering that I changed my order a few times as the guest list grew. The day of the event, Holly delivered the food exactly as arranged. The assortment and arrangement of the food on the boards was beautiful, and each board included all of the adorable bamboo utensils that were needed. “The best taquero we’ve had in a very long time. They communicated very well and answers all my questions. They arrived on time and food was ready to be served at the time agreed. Everyone in the party enjoy the tacos and the refreshing and delicious aguas frescas. We will definitely have them at our next event.“

“I just discovered the Burrito Wagon. A taco truck style eatery. They sell American food as well as Mexican food even though the name implies differently. I got a chilli verde burrito and it was pretty big and good. I asked for spicy and it was just right a little on the spicier side but not bad. This was one of the best burritos I've ate in SLO which is notoriously known for lacking good Mexican food. I think I paid about 8 bucks (which is fair for SLO) for it but the portion was good. The taco truck is located by the Runners Depot kinda hidden away a little.“

“My go-to coffee & matcha spot in SLO. Tiny Cafe provides a great variety of drink options to choose from their seasonal menu. I like how different their coffee and matcha drinks are from other vendors, and how are sustainable they are as a business (they provide discounts if you bring your own cup, and bag for coffee beans).
Tiny Cafe can booked for events too. I’ve booked them for a company event once, and everyone sung praises on how good the drinks and pastries were. If you’re looking for a local coffee spot to support, Tiny Cafe is the place to go!“

“Kind of hit or miss, they change their menu often so don't expect to get what you had a week ago. That being said, they always have interesting items, not your standard fair, Californian Asia fusion? A good place for the adventurous, they have many vegetarian options and local fresh ingredients. And very nice baked goods. A bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.“
