We pulled this place up on Google Maps because we were looking for fish n chips. Well, they don't serve that at this location and good thing because I never would have tried The Duke, which was FANTASTIC! My kid got the Bogy Burger and a custom shake, both delicious. I would highly recommend this 50's themed diner. Our waitress Sarah was cool and friendly. Oh, and the custom mixed Cola was good, which is a lot from this Coca Cola forever fan.

I remember when Cool Cat opened in SLO (circa 1995?). Still great food. Generous portions. Tasty creations. The ham/pineapple/bbq sandwich is to DIE for. The Crispy Chicken Salad is excellent. I've eaten at all 3 locations. (Their Maui store was destroyed in the Lahaina fire). All 3 are excellent.

Had some dental work done. I couldn't wait until I could eat my favorite chili cheese fries and chicken strips. YUMMY!!!
I wanted to give a shout out to Jenny and Connor, they honestly made my day with their kindness alone. I've been in the food-service industry for 5+ years, I don't usually come across people as wonderfully welcoming as them. Food is amazing as always, but the service gets my highest rating.

One of the best milkshakes I've had in SLO County!! Cool Cat Cafe is your classic burger and milkshake diner from the 50s. We were seated immediately and our server was super friendly and accommodating. She gave us great recommendations and provided 10/10 service. I wish I remembered her name! The food was incredible! Two of us split a burger, fries, and a shake and had plenty of food. We ordered the Bogy Burger which was absolutely delicious. The bacon was crispy and the lettuce/tomatoes were fresh. However, the star of the show was the SLO Mudd Pie Shake and I absolutely would come back to order this again. If you are a dessert fan you have to try it!! So addicting that you can't help but finish it. All in all, we really enjoyed our dining experience here and would highly recommend if you want a retro, casual lunch/dinner spot.
