We had an awesome server Forrest. We were there for my daughter's birthday and he made her dinner fun and special. Great soup of the day- creamy potato.
We made a last minute reservation for breakfast to celebrate the kids end-of-season sports. The restaurant was packed, but we were seated on time, waited on efficiently and couldn't have been more cared for. The portions were huge, food was fresh and they even helped us celebrate with a complimentary slice of pink champagne cake. It was a wonderful morning. Highly recommend! The Christmas decorations were stunning.

Had a wonderful lunch again. We love this coffee shop. They have an amazing menu. Cocktails and after 5 you can order from the steakhouse menu as well.
Copper Cafe at Madonna Inn has performed exceptionally well over the 50+ years I've been a customer here.
From weddings to birthdays... Graduations to funerals... I've dined many times, and never disappointed.
As far as I'm concerned, there is no better steak in California than what Madonna Inn serves in their Gold Rush dining room... From the relish tray to a chilled salad fork this is how dinner should be done.
I have not been paid for this review but I honestly believe when a local company can provide service and product as Madonna Inn has done it needs to be recognized.
God willing, here's to another 50 years.

The service was top notch. However, the food was subpar. Breakfast is pretty basic, but nothing was good except items from bakery.
This place is a gem of a restaurant. We loved everything about the experience. Our waiter was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough!
I'm gonna say that I was highly disappointed with the pie. It came highly recommended by so many people I think my expectations were too high. I though that it was mediocre at best. Definitely NOT worth the $13 for a slice. And if I paid the $60 for a whole pie i would have returned it and asked for a refund.
On the plus side the napkins and fo bag were very nice.
I can't say anything about the food, as I only went for the highly recommended but surprisingly disappointing dessert.

American standard meals. No frills menu - they save that for the baked goods which are over the top!

Poor Language Communication Both our server and drink server didn't complete sentences and or drink server muttered and said it was a Diet Coke but served a Coke. I have been going to Copper cafe since 1976 This was the oddest staff I have ever observed Hostess was just leaning on wall when we left. We said Goodnight she barely looked up. Customer service needs improvement. No one looked happy to be working there. Left a bad taste about retuning

Went for a birthday dinner , server was charming sweet and so cool, provided excellent service even when asked to change a meal because I accidentally ordered the wrong item . I went around 7:30 and the. paying the bill was weird , had two young guys laughing felt like it was at us when asked what recipet we signed and made us super uncomfortable. Weird energy from them . But over all the waiters service made up for it .
it was good took my sister for her birthday but server mixed up the weong bugers and gave me a weel dome rather than my medium. Didnt give us enough food boxes and kinda pushy maybe because we didnt seem like the typical customer they usually get im not sure. But she did give us extra pickles which was nice. Thenfood was still great will probably come back but maybe at a less busier time.
Worst birthday dining experience ever. Hair in my bread. Overcooked filet. Horrible service.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday. The place was busy, lots of other people celebrating their birthdays as well. I had a hamburger and fries. The hamburger was good however the fries were lukewarm. But I love fries so we ate them. The best part was the Black Forest cake. It was delicious and a big piece. The place is eclectic. Go there if you want something different,
