Delicious lattes and food, and they could get away with charging so much more for both. I loved the Mayan Mocha, every mocha to me tastes the same but this one had way more flavor because of the spices. It was also just a huge drink! The Sunrise Wrap was also tasty, it came with a salsa (which is a must, without it it's a little dry) and it was very filling.
This place was wonderful! I got brunch here with my boyfriend, and everything was great. The service was super friendly, and both our food and our drinks were delicious!
Casual unpretentious cafe in the heart of SLO, absolutely delicious chilaquiles verde (they were happy to skip the red sauce), and chile rellenos ($8 a la carte), friendly warm service. I live here and I'll be back often!
Spectacular food. Highly recommend. Just be aware they've gotten much more popular, so there can sometimes be a wait.
chilaquiles so good that when I sat on the patio for lunch two passerby asked me what I was eating. Amazing breakfast/lunch in slo!!
I got the torta and it was so flavorful and not too heavy. The service was really great. It was my first time in and I’ll definitely be back
Almost missed this one, but glad we came.
Sorry to say but they took way too long for 2 coffee orders that adding insult to injury, Got wrong!!! Not coming back unfortunately.

The torta here brought tears to my eyes, it was fantastic. The choice and seasoning of vegetables and dreamy soft bread was heavenly. Also ordered a coyota which was delicious the perfect combo of flaky and soft and salty and sweet. It was pretty busy but we didn’t mind waiting in the vibrant atmosphere and seeing how hard at work and friendly the staff were. Best breakfast in SLO!

A must try in SLO. We stopped at el corazon on our drive up the PCH- the staff is incredibly warm and friendly and gives great recommendations. Food was perfection- we had the burrito and chilaquiles and were so impressed. We would go back again and again.

The breakfast burrito had a ton of flavor, but could’ve used more eggs. I ordered mine with chicken and was almost all chicken. It was great, if you’re a meat lover. I was sad they didn’t have avocado either, but that’s just my preference. The chicken tacos were amazing!
The hibiscus Arnold Palmer was delicious. The place is small, but colorful, with nice window seats and some outdoor seating, for good people watching in downtown SLO. Would definitely recommend, overall.
