Dunites Wine Company

So glad I learned of this fun, intimate wine tasting room in downtown San Luis Obispo! They have very good wines, including some unique whites and a stellar rosé, all sourced from the fabulous Edna Valley. I joined their wine club on my first visit! Service has always been exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Elena, who is almost always there, treats us like good friends…sort of a “Cheers” vibe, but with good 🍷

Dunites Wine Co. on Garden Street in San Luis Obispo is a must-visit spot for wine lovers. We love this place! We stopped in yesterday just because of how inviting the shop looked. We were immediately greeted and welcomed by a warm and friendly staff member. We told him we wanted to buy a bottle and he was so helpful and let us try multiple wines. We loved them so much we ended up getting both bottles and we will definitely be back for more!

Stopped in today and had some amazing wine and cider. Usually I’ll have at less one wine in a flight that I wouldn’t want to buy. I would buy everything that I tasted today with no hesitation. Dunites uses very few sulfites or additives in their wines and it shows in the taste. We signed up for their club right away. We definitely will be coming back!

Great wines, totally different from what I feel is the standard Central Coast profile. All are light and fresh and lifted. Service seemed a little overwhelmed on Friday evening but in his defense it was pretty busy and he was the only one there. I’d definitely go back.
