Great little tasting spot in the middle of SLO! They have all natural wines, and the manager Steve will talk you through all the options. I had a glass of the brut cider (dry and delightful), and tastes of the Syrah-Grenache (my fav) and Pinot noir (Steve's rec). There are a few tables outside - in front and out back - as well as indoor seating. Some small snacks on the menu, but was also told I could bring my own food in if wanted. Definitely will be back for a glass or more when I come back to town.

Fantastic & chill tasting room. Very nice people, delicious wine. The story behind the Dunites community is astonishing and I'm surprised more SLO County people are not aware of the history.

Stopped in today and had some amazing wine and cider. Usually I’ll have at less one wine in a flight that I wouldn’t want to buy. I would buy everything that I tasted today with no hesitation. Dunites uses very few sulfites or additives in their wines and it shows in the taste. We signed up for their club right away. We definitely will be coming back!

Great wines, totally different from what I feel is the standard Central Coast profile. All are light and fresh and lifted. Service seemed a little overwhelmed on Friday evening but in his defense it was pretty busy and he was the only one there. I’d definitely go back.

A lovely wine tasting room in downtown SLO. We tasted six wines that had character and were average priced for the area. It is a lovely store front with couple tables out front, a full length bar and a few tables inside with cool lighting, lovely plants and a neat tile floor. I can't say that all of the wines were my favorite, but the wines were complex and taste is subjective. I can appreciate that there were some very cool wines. I was particularly a fan of the pet nat.

What a gem! Went to a couple of wineries in paso robles which were good but returned to hotel in downtown SLO, and this place awaited. Wines all made naturally which means no American oak aging which can certainly add great depth to wines, although, see what it can take away in some cases. The mouth feel of these wines was different than that of all other 12 wineries we visited this trip as they were soft, pillow like almost. As if the wine had been put through a "wine softener" so soft. The softness mixed with undisturbed fruit notes from the wines grapes made for such a unique tasting experience. The whites were crisp, dry but not bitter while the reds were so incredibly smooth. Most varietals were of Rhone variety (Granache, Syrah). The pinot noir on tap was only lackluster experience. Almost carbonated coming out of the tap making the taste like a red sparkling wine (which they do have a pet nat, much better than the pinot). Overall, I liked so much, I joined club. Highly recommend.

Lovely and stylish wine tasting room downtown. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and fun.I was intrigued by many of their wines, especially the Albariño was a favorite. Also, they have a delicious cider on tab that hopefully will be bottled in the future - it's incredible! Will definitely be back when I'm in SLO!

Cosy little spot for some yummy wines. We spent a relaxing hour or so here with our flight resting in between sightseeing and dinner. Wines are interesting and varied, and our wine pourer was full of interesting details about the wine and had great suggestions for dinner as well. Flight had a good pacing between wines, and my only comment is we'd prefer the whites to be a bit cooler.

Awesome wine shop in the heart of downtown SLO! Ambiance is spot on, wine is incredible, staff is wonderful. A young couple owns the shop, and the winemaker started making wines after "following the vintage" around the world before residing in the Central Coast. Honestly some of the best wine I've had at a fair price point. Essentially everything you'd want in a local, small business wine shop. Grab a seat outside, sip your way through the tasting and watch the SLO life ramble on by. Makes for a wonderful afternoon. Staple for us when in SLO.

This place was great!! The wine is refreshing and each one has a distinct taste, and their Syrah is to die for. Steve was very helpful and we will be returning because of the great wine and customer service. Highly recommend!

We stopped by this wine tasting spot on a whim today and it was such a nice spontaneous place for a tasting. We met the wine maker (who reminded me of Matthew McConaughey in a mask- delightful) who was so lovely and honest about the wines and the lovely gal who was doing the pours was so sweet. We absolutely extended our welcome by being there for around 2 hours but they were so kind and open to our chatty selves sticking around. On our way home, we shared with our Uber driver (who is a sommelier!) about our wine tasting here- and he noted that this is such a rare opportunity to try this wine. Anyway, BRB selling our rare Chardonnay wine bottles on EBay ;) we loved this place and would certainly come back the next time we are in the area. Happy to be the first review- hope folks enjoy their time as much as we did!
