One of my favorite coffees in town. However, every time I go I feel discouraged to return with just how cold and unwelcoming the staff are. There are other coffee spots nearly as delicious with a way friendlier and more welcoming environment. For that reason, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a one time treat but I would never recommend making this your daily coffee routine. The energy is not a good start to your day! I know it’s not a fluke, as I’ve gone to the coffee shop 2-3 times a week for the last two months but have now started looking elsewhere for my morning coffee.

I previously went here weekly because of the coffee, and atmosphere, and would always recommend this coffee place to others. I’ve stopped supporting because of the service. It’s terrible. I called to express concerns over spoiled yogurt, that both my partner and I had reactions to, and was brushed off. Today, I took a visiting relative there upon their request and the cashier was rude to her for merely asking a question. I would have continued to support this business but don’t have patience for poor customer service.

Ordered a latte and it was great. Plenty of inside and outdoor seating. Long line but they quickly knocked out orders.

Such a great vibe!!! Lex was super kind and quick on the coffee on the first….and second round 😬. First time here and will definitely be coming back! ***As you can see, that coffee had no chance***

Great coffee spot here in SLO. Cool building that is very hippie where plants are actually finding their way to burrow through the walls. Staff was friendly, but a little slow for a busy work day. Coffee was tasty, so I will be back.

Great spot for a coffee and pastry to start your day. Bright and airy space. In nice weather the garage doors open up to let in fresh air. Staff were friendly.

I was excited to try Field Day as it was highly recommended, but the coffee was no better than dunkin donuts. Lovely seating atmosphere but the coffee was a total let down and very expensive.

Checked out Field Day Coffee with a friend today. Space was utilized well as a coffee shop. Open and airy throughout the inside portion of the coffee shop. Ample outdoor seat which was a bonus, and just as the sun came out on our visit. Coffee was delicious and made to order correctly on the first time. I shared a Brown Butter cookie with my friend and it was Delicious. Pricing is fare and coffee tasted much better than other big brand coffee chains. Definitely recommend field day coffee if your visiting SLO. 👍

Just make sure you have 30 minutes free to wait for your coffee… even with no line😅!

One of the best pour overs I have ever had. High quality selection of pour over options, good selection of single origin beans from all over the country. Also a great patio to hang out.

Looking for a local coffee shop with good vibes and great coffee? Then look no further! I am so glad we stopped by Field Day (twice!) on our short weekend trip to SLO. Field Day has two parts. There's a coffee shop on one side and a wine shop on the other. We first stopped in midday for some wine. I had a very refreshing glass of Sauvignon Blanc (okay, I admit, I had a couple glasses!). They also have a wine shop with a wonderful selection of wine (a lot of great mineral wine options too, if that's your fancy). We then returned the following day for coffee. There's plenty of seating. It was giving Los Feliz/Silver Lake/east side Austin, Texas vibes (if you know, you know). It seems like a very popular spot and I definitely see why. Fully recommend.

I absolutely LOVE field day! I’ve been a customer for years now and I love bringing my golden retriever too. Every single barista is so kind and loves to make conversation. Trust me it’s the best matcha latte in all of San Luis Obispo!! I have been guilty of going twice a day lol. Get there early enough and snag an avocado toast but if not I love the homemade bagels! Truly will recommend this experience to anyone!
