Worth the long line! Delicious food, our group had both sandwiches and salads with a wide variety of meats and they were all great. Love the simplicity of the operation. Tables/floor/environment in general is pretty dirty due to high crowds so don’t go here if you’re sensitive to that, also music is super loud inside and you can’t hear people talk unless yelling.

We order the tri-tip and the pig. Meet was juicy and the bread was crispy. The portion was just right for us two. Very satisfying dinner. The price is friendly too

Ribs and Tri Tip sandwich are what we had. I have been here before and I really enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed this time. I ordered the ribs with the sauce on the side. I should have ordered on the ribs. The ribs had a “baked in the oven” feel. Just not the same as smoked. The tri tip was pretty good but the fries were a little too salty for my taste. Very popular place.

Another Local Favorite. So good! Awesome price. And I love the bar they got here. Food + Alcohol and a lively atmosphere is hands down... dope. Great vibes

I used to really enjoy the tri tip sandwiches here but they have changed. Asked for a Tri tip sandwiched “chopped” as the locals know, and they said they don’t do that anymore. The meat was dry and lacked flavor, unlike before where there was flavor and juicy. The chicken tenders were even worse. The atmosphere was louder than normal with kids screaming. Then the prices…2 tri tip sandwiches and a chicken tenders cost $50. Oh well, once was a great place.

Excellent sandwiches. Cold beers. Tons of fries.
Went here based on a recommendation from a team we support while on a work trip, we were searching for a great California tri tip sandwich and they nailed this on the head. Their tri tip is absolutely delicious and their prices are fantastic especially for the area. Their side of fries is 2 gallons of fries. I feel they could upgrade their number system so they could play music, but their food was just really really good.

Fast and friendly service. Got the chicken tender sammich, pulled pork sammich, and ABC burger. All tasted wonderful. I always get the Tri tip sammich but wanted to try something else. All the food I've ordered is great tasting and deilcous.

If this is the best SLO has to offer, I’m pretty disappointed. Cold meat, undercooked beans. SLO is such a fake country town. Don’t get the hype.

Good food. Decent price. Quick service. Even horchata. Pretty busy and not quiet. Downtown SLO so parking is precious. Free street parking within a few blocks.
