We love to come here with a large group and sit out in the garden area. The flat liner cocktail is delicious.

We went to Giuseppe's to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. Everything was insanely delicious, and our server was great too. We'll definitely be back 💖

Visited this restaurant after finding it highly rated, and I’m glad to say it didn’t disappoint.

This Italian spot offers a lovely dining ambiance, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside is the parking, which is street parking and can be difficult to find during peak hours.

We started with the bread service, which was a nice touch—fresh bread served with a flavorful dipping sauce. For appetizers, we had the Polpette, which was excellent. The marinara sauce complemented both the bread and the meatballs perfectly.

For mains, we ordered the Chicken Alfredo and Tortellini Giuseppe. The Chicken Alfredo had great flavor, but the butter was a bit overpowering, and the chicken was unfortunately overcooked, making it a bit tough. However, the Tortellini Giuseppe was a standout—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Definitely a must-try!

Overall, it's a solid Italian restaurant, perfect for both a casual meal or a dinner date. Worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Amazing Italian food! We were seated right away and service was super attentive. We loved the pomodoro pasta which if you’re on the fence about it get it! It melts in your mouth. Not giving it five stars because they only give 4 raviolis for a ravioli order which in my opinion is robbery.

Food and service is very good, even at peak hours (a little slow at peak, but that's expected). When it gets busy it gets VERY loud, deafeningly so in the back room. Which wouldn't be so bad, but Guiseppe's is VERY popular, so it gets very busy very often. Hope they install some basic soundproofing on those old brick walls someday.

We come a few times a year, the food is very very good and the staff are excellent, and I'm sure we'll be back again, but we'll have to be more strategic about what time we visit

Place was busy on a Monday night. Decided to do a take out option and sit out on front patio instead of waiting 30+ minutes for a table for one person (apparently they do not serve the front patio during the week, even on busy nights). Had difficulty ordering both food and drink (wine) from takeout counter - needed to go to the bar. Wine was served quickly but food took a long time to come out. Was really looking forward to a meal of fresh pasta and some in house made gelato, but the pretentious feeling was disappointing. If you decide to go to Giuseppe's, be sure to have a reservation. Maybe you'll get better attention and have an improved experience over what was encountered on the night I attempted to dine there.

Food, wait person spectacular as usual. My family has been going to SLO G restaurant for decades never had an issue. But this evening we encountered a very rude and angry hostess. Hostess knew we were first inline to be seated but she ignored us, I had to talk with one of the wait persons to get her attention to seat us. Then when I wanted to sit in our normal table we’ve sat in for years she claimed we couldn’t because they use this table for highchair seating which has never been mentioned to us ever. I insisted I waned our normal table, in a very angry manner sat us. We asked our wait person about “when did this table start being used for high chair seating he said never, I have no idea what the hostess is talking about this is your table.” Watch out for a rude grumpy hostess and you’ll love this restaurant!
