Had a great time, Chef Gordon was very friendly and made perfect recommendations for us. The brisket sandwiches and brisket salad were terrific. Great combo on the salad between the meat and vinegrette.
Perfect spot to bring the family. They were very accommodating to my picky 5 year old eater and he ended up eating his whole breakfast, which is unheard of. Top notch service. I can't wait to come back for lunch and dinner!
Jason and Charlie are great! Fantastic food and a great, family friendly atmosphere.
We had the breakfast burrito. Great quality and quantity for the price. So good to have a business like this in the Creamery!
First time visiting and I had their breakfast burrito. Tri-tip & pulled pork combo, the homemade salsa, everything was so tasty! Charley was very welcoming and fun to chat with. I’ll definitely be coming back for weekend brunch & mimosas! Salud!
Liked this place before but now that they moved into a bigger space and expanded their menu LOVE IT! So tasty, nice atmosphere, good service, reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? Brought a coworker and they loved it too. Different from other SLO bbq options.
Amazing food, great location. Fun for adults and kids. I’ve been looking for a great breakfast spot downtown! Yummy breakfast burritos, waffles, etc!
All around great experience, will definitely be back! Huge sides portions, yummy BBQ options, good meats.
Newly opened (by a local business owner). Great food, service and experience!! Adds a good vibe in The Creamery, too.
The chicken and waffles were terrible. The chicken was dry and bland despite having some sort of breading on it (I suspect it was prepackaged chicken strips). The waffles were small and basically deflated when any amount of syrup was added, shrinking to nearly paper thin. Sorry for the harsh review.
Make some chicken in house, invest in better waffle technology, and you'll be doing great.
The people were amazing.
The food was delicious, great brisket sandwich and the slaw was very unique and good.

Gold Land BBQ is an absolute gem! I regularly order their tri-tip's, brisket, and whole smoked chickens through Harvestly for easy weeknight family meals, and they never disappoint... I had the chance to visit their location in person recently, and it was phenomenal.
Everything they make (or should I say smoke) is ridiculously good. Ribs? Check. Brisket? Check. Tri-tip? Check. Smoked chicken? OMG, absolutely check. The quality and flavor of their barbecue are unmatched.
This place has officially become my go-to for family meals. My kids love it, my wife loves it, and I love it—it’s a win all around. I’ll 100% have them cater my next event, birthday, or even kids b-day :) Highly recommend!

Stopped in for dinner and was disappointed. Food was all very average or below. There was no smoking happening in this location and it showed. Staff was friendly enough.

Super friendly, super juicy brisket, can’t wait to go back for more. Wash it down with an Arnold Palmer? Just great.
