The avocado toast was good but I paid an extra $3 for egg and when I finally got to sit down to eat it…no egg. It was too far to go back. While it still tasted good, I was disappointed.

I left the review on the wrong location so here it is for this location. For a bakery the bread on their cheesesteak sandwich was honestly terrible. The fillings didnt make up for it either.

Said they were open until 6 on Friday.. at 5:40 everything was cleared and we were told, in an impolite manner, that we could not order certain things on the menu because grill was closed and they were closing. Hmm? Too bad, as a foodie who eats out at least 7-8 meals a week, I would have loved to have this as a go to. Loved the old place years ago. Not thrilled with new establishment. I won’t suggest this to anyone and won’t be going back.

Other reviews do a great job of describing how good the food is. True! I just want to add that the menu does accommodate those of us who are gluten intolerant. Both the breakfast and lunch menus include gf choices. They also toast up gf croutons for their [generous] salads. I take home loaves of their delicious gf breads, slice them up and freeze some of the slices to toast later. Some days they have gf cookies, also. They are generous with samples if you want to make sure you will like your order.

Got to California after flying all day and I was starving, so I was very glad to find a place super close by the airport to grab a quick bite to eat. I got a very yummy sandwich and was able to continue on with my day no longer feeling hangry :)

Very nice location and plenty of tables for guest eating inside. Items were well stocked and looked very fresh. My order was prepared and served at my table in timely fashion. The staff was very friendly and helpful in suggestions for my breakfast choices of ham, sunny-side up eggs, black beans and wonder varieties of toast paired with raspberry jam. Very delicious and on my list to return for the lunch or brunch experience. Also had the Lemon Bar which was better than the. classic that you may be thinking of. No picture because it was that good. ?? The name “House of Bread” speaks for itself so if you enjoy different varieties, flavors or choices, you gotta go.

To be fair my husband and I visited on a Saturday morning we had a cinnamon roll and a raspberry pinwheel and shared a small cup of reg. Coffee which came out to $14. and some change. I’m taking into consideration all the homelessness people and all those starving and all who work hard for thier money….. I wouldn’t have given this food to anyone, they went straight into the trash after one bite. They should be ashamed of themselves selling crap for high prices. The rolls must have been a week old they were hard on the outside and gummy chewing like rubber on the inside. Absolutely disgusting! I’m sure they make thier money on all the other high priced products but I I’ll not go back and do not recommend unless you like throwing money away. If the owner and managers care they will review this and hopefully do something about it afterall it’s a great location but not friendly and not very clean. Staff maybe friendly and courteous when management is around or to certain people? Very dissatisfied and disappointed!!! And website has glitches only gives bagels as a option as to what we had nothing else.?Update it is a week later, I heard back as you can see from whomever is in charge and what a joke! The reply I guess is only to look good, after the suggestion was put out there on there behalf to refund my husband’s money and or try something new which I thought was great….. after I replied to the response of the review to let my husband know they were going to refund his money or go at lunchtime to give the place a second chance, we have not heard a peep from anyone at House of Bread. ? I now understand the people working there follow thier example from management. To management don’t say anything or offer if you don’t plan on following through with it!!!! ?

I had the Western sandwich for lunch. Oh my ... It was so delicious! The horseradish sauce was perfectly added to give each bite it's delightful flavor! I took half home for later and it was just as tasty!

The House of Much More than bread is quite an amazingly pleasant temple to all things flour related.
