Portions were disappointingly small and honestly the worst Indian Food I had. It wasn’t horrible but such a downgrade from everything else. Expensive too! Not planning on coming back.

Not the greatest. New to San luis osbispo area but seriously not sure if there’s any other Indian places here but this one wasn’t good. Curry in the butter chicken was watery, basically 3 pieces as well. Unfortunate experience.

We went to this place since Shalimar, which is our usual go to place in SLO, was serving only buffet that day. We have tried so many Indian restaurants in the US. By far this is the worst tasting food which they are selling as Indian food and that too for more than double the cost of what we pay for similar Indian food at other places. The service is also not good and they charge 20% mandatory service charge on top of it. I ordered all vegetarian - one curry, one dal, two naans, one coke, and one jeera rice for two people. Everything totaled to $76. The same food usually costs around $35 across similar restaurants we have tried in California and tastes way better. Not happy at all with this visit.

On top of everything, when I ordered a take out for my kid, they just wrapped the food in aluminum foil and handed it over. No condiments, no cutlery, nothing. Plus the aloo paratha we ordered had very minimal presence of aloo. It’s just bread made of flour.

Never going back.

Very Bad experience. The quantity was very less, and they charged $2 for onions which they never said they will charge until I was billed. More issues , no hot water, Papdi chat chole was frozen. Very rude waiter to dela with.

Vegetarian options: Quantity is very less compared to price they charge.

My friend has been recommending this place to me for a very long time, but I was hesitating because I have a red chili intolerance, however they were able to accommodate for me and the food was AMAZING. Tastes very fresh and the flavor balance is perfect ? Will come back for sure ??
