A lovely option for Indian food in slo! I came for the lunch special, which gave a little bit of everything. All deliciously flavorful, and the naan soft and fresh. A little spicy for me, but the raita was applied liberally between bites. The tikka masala having cashew, almonds, and cream sounded strange but it was wonderful alchemy in the tongue. ❣️and gulab jamun a perfect simple sweet finish.
Excellent service and food. EVERYTHING was delicious. The exterior of building isn’t fancy—but a dining experience is definitely worth it. I ordered mild heat and it was plenty spicy for me, and I generally love heat. Our dinner was amazing.Vegetarian options: Great for people who have celiac too!

This is th best Indian food in SLO, they use fresh mostly GMO free vegetables and meats. The food is well seasoned and taste fresh. The food takes longer than I'm accustomed, but it's well worth the wait and affirms that the dishes are made to order. The service is polite but it's not going to be your typical American attitude of peppy-ness. The Rogan Josh (lamb dish) and Chicken Jalfrazi is my favorite.

Totally amazing food! We lived in Dubai & Abu Dhabi for 8 years where there are more Indian restaurants than anywhere except India Itself. Nice menu selection, not too overwhelming. I had the Rogan Josh, a staple of Indian cooking and a great dish with which to measure the authenticity of the cooking. It was a good as I have had anywhere.The only negative was the restaurant was a bit cold and the server brought the check while my partner was still eating…. Take a breath and your customers will enjoy their dinning experience more.In spite of that I am looking forward to returning as soon as I can for more of their amazing food.

Food: 4.25. Had a craving for Indian food and saw this place on Yelp. Arrived around 1 pm on a Thursday. Place was mostly empty. We ordered 2 lunch specials (chicken curry and butter chicken), chicken korma, and garlic naan. Food came out timely and at the right temperature. To me, Indian food isn't very visually pleasing but tastes SO good. My favorite is chicken korma. Chicken korma was very good but the serving was pretty small for $16.99 and it doesn't come with rice or naan. Lunch specials seemed a good deal in comparison. Butter chicken was very good but the portion is so small for a lunch special. My brother could eat three lunch specials. A buffet would be better for value. Ambiance is fine.
