I’ve been going to Kelsey’s for years and always had a great experience until today. 14 of us arrived in the afternoon for wine tasting. Multiple people in our group had not used all of their tokens when a man approached the group and said they were closing and he needed to take our glasses. What was upsetting is no one told us they were closing at 5:00pm nor did anyone advise us of a last call for drinks. I advised one of the employees that it felt as if we were being kicked out and that they should advise all the customers when it gets close to closing that there is going to be a last call. She did’n’t act like she cared and said they stop serving drinks at 4:30. I told her no one in my party was aware of that. For anyone at Kelsey’s who’s reading this, you should also allow a grace period after 5:00 for people to finish their drink. The only reason I didn’t give my review a one star is because of the other times I’ve been there and had positive experiences.
Lovely space with live music and ambiance galore! And a live peacock somewhere in the grounds. 🦚
Nice spot. I recommend the wine. The service is what did it for me. Very cool.
The wine tasting was pretty good, but I most enjoyed the grapefruit cider that was so refreshing. This place is located along a side road near the edge of a mountain, with a family of peacocks that steal the show. Very relaxing and peaceful with no traffic noise.
We had a very pleasant and relaxed tasting at Kelsey. There is outdoor seating with shade next to a creek. There were many peacocks and Turkeys all around. Our wine professional, Megan, was very knowledgeable, courteous and made our time there fun. The wine is excellent and we left with many bottles.
God forbid you have something that’s gonna kill you by the time you talk to doctor and assess your problem which it’s a month over. I was trying to get a colonoscopy which is pretty common. It took me a month to talk to somebody in order to get the surgery planned And they told me they had one guy and all Houston they can do the job wait for them. I almost lost my left foot. I wish I can post a picture on this to show you guys.
Fantastic, wine, atmosphere, service, employees, entertainment, everything about it. A place to go. I picked it in honor of my granddaughter Kelsey Mariah.
It was a very nice winery. I went to school with the owners and our mothers were friends from way back when. They have the best wine around winning several awards. Tasted great!
Definitely the best apple wines! I love the red delicious.
Great wines, great atmosphere and great live music! Bonus you can bring your lunch(food) and enjoy!

Tasty wines and ciders, beautiful views, and great band playing too
By far the most important winery in the Central coast appellation. Kelsey vineyards brings the epitome of wine and cider creation for the state of California with smaller facilities than most boutique wineries in the region. One of the last remaining local owned, family owned properties and wineries in the state. Only fools would pass this location up when driving north or south on 101 it’s only minutes from the freeway exit, but secluded like an untouched swimming hole, a closely guarded secret of the San Luis Obispo area. What are you waiting for? Go talk to their wine maker right next to the tasting room! If you don’t believe me, prove me wrong.. but you’re going to have to spend a few hours amidst the vines and peacocks before you judge this brilliant environment for dogs, kids, family, friends, lovers, newlyweds, anniversary visits and more.
Also the cheese is like so flipping good. I could eat all of it. All. Of. It. Cheers and enjoy!
Went visited on Father's Day and to celebrate my daughter's graduation. Loved the wine. The tasting was a good value and works on a 'chip' system. You have to use all the chips in one session. There was live music, which was great. The employees were very friendly.
The weather was nice, the staff were kind and it was a pleasant winery.
I was surprised by the peacocks The white wine was especially delicious ?
We usually have a nice time here, and enjoy being able to sit outdoors and bring our own food. The wine tasting is pretty expensive for the very little amount they give you. It is cheaper to just buy a glass or a bottle. All in all, it is a pleasant experience.
