Kitchen & Vine Reviews
We simply loved our first time at Kitchen & Vine today! (SLO Public Market). I enjoyed the classic breakfast. Hearty, high quality bacon! Delicious. The potatoes were awesome. I grew up on a farm, and on breakfast like this, and I love that I can find it "farm fresh" here in SLO. The sourdough bread was fantastic! It had us ask "do you make your bread or who does?" Back Porch Bakery was the response. So great. Peter said to me, "please get some." 😊

Kitchen & Vine offers tasty meals and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot. The restaurant features a great breakfast menu, with highlights like the Classic Breakfast, breakfast burrito, and amazing waffles. For those with dietary restrictions, the Classic Breakfast remains a good option. The carnitas scramble is hearty and packed with meat, served with plenty of potatoes. The restaurant also has a Tesla charger for electric car owners. While the Green Goddess salad has good flavor, it could use less stem from the greens and softer corn tortillas. The canitas could have less burnt bits. Set in an old farm house, the cafe has picnic tables and bar-height counters for seating, with orders placed at the counter and picked up at a service window, an inventive use of a farm house sash window. The menu is simple but flavorful, featuring dishes like the Butcher Tacos with juicy, well-seasoned carnitas and grilled veggies, served in generous portions. The steak and eggs and Bonetti bowl are also hearty and delicious. Many dishes, including the classic breakfast and avocado toast, receive high praise. Live music on weekends adds to the relaxed vibe, and recent additions like a soft serve machine make it perfect for summer. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment for all customers. This cute spot, tucked in the corner of the shopping center, also offers mimosas and has a great atmosphere for a laid-back morning experience. Service is outstanding, with food coming out in a timely fashion, making it a perfect stop in SLO.
