This place is unfortunately not what it used to be. The servers were great but the sandwiches now only have a couple slices of meat on them, so combined with the meager veggies and all you're tasting the bread due to the massively thick rolls. Not worth paying that kind of money.

Great sandwiches, and a nice place to sit out of the sun in hot weather like we are having this July in the low 90,s. They are reasonably priced, good bread, and good size. They have ample parking and friendly employees.

First time at Kona, absolutely exceeded expectations. Hell of a sando. So many options to choose from though so I was a little lost for a sec, luckily the pretty girl at the register took over for me and put me on the right track. Santa Fe and postmaster is a killer combo, courtesy of Rachel. Get this gal a raise, and if you have any concerns about this spot reach out at 2073517156

I love Kona's! Dutch crunch is THE best bread to get a sandwich on. I always get the 6 inch and eat half and get to save the other half for later because the sandwiches are huge! The workers and super friendly!

Delicious post birth food! My wife was craving a cold cut sandwich after giving birth. This is the only spot near the hospital that offers GF bread. Service was quick and friendly. We went back again the next day. The only knock is the quality of the GF bread. There are so many great options for GF bread now. It was a little bit of a bummer they used a 90s version of GF bread.

Hard to find, but this is an oasis-like setting worth the search. It is set back far from the street amongst other shops and offices with outside tables and large picnic benches under shady old trees. You'll take a driveway all the way to a large parking lot all the way in the back behind the building.

Underrated SLO sandwich shop tucked away on the university side of town in weird strip of businesses. I'm never disappointed with the food here and really love the sweet bread rolls they use on the sandwiches. I would go here more but I'm never on that side of town
