We came here while visiting our Daughter who is working an internship in the area. It was my wife's birthday and we wanted a special place to celebrate. We were so glad we came here. We had the lasagna, Veal Marsala, and Osso Buco. All we incredible. Service was so very friendly and well paced. Thank you La Locanda for a wonderful meal and evening!
The service is great and you definitely feel like a local dining here! We ordered the carpaccio to begin, and it was very great, but we felt it was odd to include raw mushrooms. The main pasta dish, cacio e Pepe, seemed to be made from a box pasta, which was disappointing. The homemade Agnolotti alla piemontese was delicious, and I want to try it in a red sauce! Tiramisu was great.
The food was very good. We had an appetizer of stuffed squash followed by fettuccine with mushrooms in a truffle sauce. The restaurant was about half empty. I only saw two servers. The service was slow with limited contact. The prices were high and is expected a better overall experience for the price.
