We stopped in for lunch. So, we both decided to try pork tacos. It came with chips and tacos. The server was affable and friendly. We both agree the chips were too thick and overcooked. The salsa had a very good flavor. I found the pork a bit fatty and overcooked but with a very good flavor. My wife had a soda that was cold and well carbonated. We will be back to try other dishes!

Love and care into each item! Really delicious flavor to the Chile verde. & the chorizo as well. They know their stuff! Really glad we stopped here for breakfast. Small spot with outdoor seating. Chips & salsa came with the order. The Jimaica tea was fresh you could tell they made it from scratch. Items are reasonably priced and I can't believe I ate the whole burrito! I really shouldn't have. I was full all day. I couldn't eat again for over 8 hours and even by dinner time I still wasn't that hungry. But it was too good, I couldn't help myself. My girlfriend really liked her omelette. I had a bite of the Chile verde and it was crazy delicious. Had its own unique flavor but still had the Chile verde taste. Don't know when we will be back in the area but if we ever want breakfast around here we know where to come! Friendly staff too.

Found this little gem by chance on the way home from San Diego. Stopped at two other gas stations who's bathrooms were closed on our trek home. since we were hungry- we looked for food close by that had a bathroom too. There were tables out front at least 6ft apart and patrons who were enjoying their food. Walked in, was warmly greeted by the woman at the front counter, I asked how the pizole was, and the cooks and woman at the front told me it was very good. It smelled so delicious as soon as I walked in, I knew this was going to be a special find! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We bought Mexican coffees that were VERY GOOD, also tried their asada tacos (soo good) and the pizole was on point with the fresh toppings and homemade corn tortillas. It was some of the best I've had. This will be a spot we will be sure to visit again and again when we pass through! Thank you all, you got a good thing going here! I'm so happy you are surviving these trying times!

Love their Caldo de Res! Family owned restaurant.

Ordered a carne asada burrito : average at best , overpriced for what they're serving. very mediocre. The red salsa tasted like bland tomato sauce and the green salsa was literally bad (sour/rotten). No idea why there's such good reviews , won't be returning.

Ordered our Chile relleno burritos wet (paid extra) and they didn't add any sauce. Good food but disappointing when you anticipate it one way.

Met the wife for lunch. First time eating here. It was great. Had the carne asada burrito. It was very tasty and the carne asada meat had great flavor. The wife had chiliquillas. She said it was great. " she said could have used some more eggs but it said 2 eggs. The waitress /hostess was very nice and took time to explain the menu. I will be back to try other items on the menu.

Upon entering I was greeted in a friendly manner, service was prompt, and food was served in a timely fashion. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo. It just was not good. Bright orange grease dripped from the burrito. Flavor wasn't that of many eggs and chorizo burritos I've eaten in the past.

We love this restaurant! It’s truly family owned and most everything is made from scratch. We love their sopas and burritos. We go often and have never had a bad meal. Chips and salsa also made on sight and are yummy! Great for take out during lock down and outside seating is available.
