Maidenstoen Wine

Mike is a fantastic winemaker and superb host. He also has a rockin' bod and great hair. Questionable taste in European vacation destinations.

We accidentally stumbled upon this winery and are so glad we did!! The owner and his wife graciously opened their home and poured amazing wines for us. It was a great experience and we will be back!!

Mike (the winemaker) and his family hosted use for an adventure down the Riesling path and showed us how different it could be from vineyard to vineyard. From slightly sweet, to minerally, to dry. All excellent wines. He through in a German Gruner Veltliner which was excellent. It was paired with some charcuterie and great conversation. If you like the personal experience, this is it.
