Mama's Meatball

This is our second time at Mama's. They hire personable staff and are a joy to interact with. Our server was Grady and he was very nice, being his fifth day on the job a little pacing needs to be practiced. The bill came before we were finished and coffee wasn't brought until we were ready to leave. No real issues, but easily fixed as he becomes more acclimated to the rhythm of diners. As always, the food was wonderful and artfully presented. We dined outside and the ambient sounds were quiet enough to allow for conversation. We were not in any rush and we were made to feel welcomed by Grady. I had written on the reservation that this was a double birthday, but no mention was ever made of the occasion. That was a little off-putting. Still it was an enjoyable experience and evening. We will be back!

I was excited about dining here based on previous reviews and underwhelmed after the experience. Our server was friendly but seemed insincere. I think he was the only server on the floor. We were forgotten once we ordered our appetizer. When my entrée finally arrived, it was different than I expected and I never even took one bite of my pasta dish. The server didn't even notice or check back on us. Additionally, the glass of wine I ordered tasted like it had been uncorked for a month. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Mama's Meatball is our happy place, a place where we take visitors, meet friends for dinner and go as "just us" to enjoy a great meal with great service and wonderful food. The chef produces a terrific variety of dishes, with some changes each season. The wait staff is efficient and friendly, clearly recognizing our wish to be leisurely with friends, celebratory with family or left alone as a couple.

Food was delicious. Service was exceptional. Cosimo was very friendly and his suggestions were spot on. Definitely will return

There are certain dishes at this place that really wow you, but then there are others that just don't hit the mark. The menu is a little too big for everything to be amazing, but where they really shine is the people that they hire. Their service does a great job. I wish they had a better beer menu and wine list, and the ambience falls short for the prices they charge... But overall, you won't have a bad meal here.

We've come here many times and every time it is a delight to be able to eat there! Food is delicious and staff is very nice and accommodating. Also very funny. Ambiance and atmosphere is great too!

Had a party of 14 to celebrate my birthday. The food was so delicious that I made reservations 3 nights later for another set of friends. They really liked the food also. Definitely my number one go to place when I am visiting the coast.

Authentic Italian cuisine prepared masterfully! Staff was fantastic and friendly and took the time to interact with us. Felt like mama was cooking just for us:)

Have been coming all the way from L.A. on a yearly basis to dine here for over 11 years. We love it!

We were looking for some good Italian food and found this place online. They had both indoor and outdoor seating, we chose the patio. The waiter was prompt and polite and answered all of our questions. The food was spectacular, wife had spaghetti and meatballs and I had the chicken parmigiana. The food was fresh and and served in a timely fashion and very tasty, their marinara sauce was special. The chicken parmigiana was some of the best I have ever had. Definitely recommend this place.

I love Mamas meatballs. I went with my son for Father’s Day dinner. Our waiter, Sky, took absolutely no interest in our experience, came late to see if I wanted another glass of wine,….. Nicola, going to your business always brings me joy, but not today. I hope we get someone different next time.
