The food is hit or miss. The atmosphere is meh — during the college session is filled with students, in the summers it’s pretty empty. The service is NOT GOOD — if they’re busy they won’t even look at you for minutes, not a “we’ll be with you shortly” or a “thanks for waiting” or even a flicker of eye contact. There’s busy and there’s rude. I live close but I’ll be driving to other spots from now on.

Great selection of beers! My wife had a sour and I had a stout and both were delicious.
We had a tri-tip sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was incredible! The broccoli was perfect and delicious and the cheddar was creamy and smooth.
The tri-tip came with au jus making it a fantastic socal French Dip. Delicious roll, tender tri-tip, golden sweet onions and melty cheese combined to make the sandwich perfectly delicious!
Highly recommend Milestone for any type of brew you prefer and delicious food!

Went in for the first time for a late lunch and really enjoyed the food. Everyone it the table was pleased with their meal and the tap choices were great. Our server had a great personality and did a great job introducing the menu, bringing our food and checking to make sure everything was satisfactory. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was clean. Will definitely be back again soon.

A truly memorable meal in the worst possible way. I ordered the Buddha Bowl and it was as if they scraped it from the compost heap. No flavor at all. Tater tots were okay except for the raw garlic chunks on top. Maybe the booze is good. I don’t know. I won’t be back to find out.

Came to Milestone Tavern today based on a recommendation from a friend. They have a really awesome atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating as well as seating at the bar. They have lots of TVs around the bar that are visible from all areas of the restaurant.

Everything on the menu looked phenomenal. It was truly hard for us to choose what to order. We ordered the Turkey BLT and Pastrami sandwiches. Their fries are really unique and hard to describe but are absolutely delicious and some of the best fries I have ever tried. Both sandwiches were very robust and delicious. The black pepper aioli on the sandwiches was very tasty and adds a ton of flavor. Their sweet potato fries were delicious as well.

The manager informed us that they were voted number one in SLO County for their dessert but we were too full from lunch to try any of it. The dessert menu looked amazing though!

We will definitely be back to try more of the menu options as everything sounded amazing. Don't skip out on this on your next trip to San Luis Obispo.
